Summary
Shane Hollander went into the ice as a soldier and woke up a national monument. Seventy years later, the world is loud, bright, and confusing, but the mission remains the same: follow orders, protect the team, be the perfect Captain America.
Ilya Rozanov is the self-obsessed genius behind the Iron Man armor. He has more money than God, a suit powered by his dead mother's memory, and a mouth that gets him into trouble faster than his repulsors can get him out of it. He doesn't do "teams," and he definitely doesn't do "orders."
When Loki steals the Tesseract, Nick Fury forces them onto the same Helicarrier. Shane thinks Ilya is a reckless liability. Ilya thinks Shane is a government-issued lab rat.
They are destined to save the world. If they don't kill each other first.
