One.
There were many things that Tai had noticed recently on the server, mainly involving a certain trapper and swordmaster. It was already common knowledge that the two had some sort of alliance going on, and even if it pained Tai to admit it, he knew that the two of them made a deadly team. Which is why somebody had to stop them before they got too powerful.
It was by coincidence that Tai had found Jude building a trap somewhere deep in the forest. It was an easy kill, just jump down into the 3x3 hole and crit him out. However just before he potted up he heard another voice coming down from the opening.
“Don’t you have other traps set up?” That distinct accent echoed through the hole. Fuck. He could definitely take Jude in a 1v1 but a 1v2 against Sharpness was out of the question.
“Yeah, but it's always good to have more, besides this is a new one.” Tai heard Jude tinkering with some of his materials.
For a couple minutes they didn’t speak and Tai would’ve thought they were gone if he didn’t hear humming. It was low and a tune that he recognized from Sharpness humming it before. Well it didn’t matter, he wasn’t going to get his kill today.
As Tai was already walking away Jude shouted or more so yelped, “Sharpness!” That caught his attention, he shouldn’t eavesdrop on other people, but he was curious as to the relationship between the two.
Tai peeked into the hole, careful as to not reveal too much of himself and he was met with an image that’d be burned in him for the rest of his days. Jude was working on his redstone, while Sharpness was hugging him from behind. He couldn’t see too well, but he knew that the swordmaster’s hands were wrapped around the rabbit.
“Sharpness, let me work,” Jude gritted out.
“But you are so warm like a bunny.” Sharpness tried to pat Jude’s ear, but he was pushed away before he could.
“I have to work on this, it's not the time to be joking around.”
Sharpness crossed his arms, “But this is so boringggg.” While Tai couldn’t see Sharpness’ face it almost sounded like he was sulking. He’d never heard the swordmaster saying anything like, fuck he didn’t imagine that he would’ve teamed up with someone like Jude.
“Then go get in a fight or something. I have work to do.” Jude said, returning to his redstone.
“But I want to be with you.”
“Then stop complaining.” Jude dismissed him, focusing on whatever his new trap was.
“Hmph, You hate me.” Sharpness scoffed, yet he still stayed with the trapper, finding somewhere to sit while the rabbit worked.
Tai had seen enough, if anything he saw and heard too much. Usually Sharpness was someone who took what he wanted by any means necessary. However for some reason he listened to Jude, which Tai thought was impossible for the swordmaster to listen to others’ orders. Then something clicked within Tai, the way they spoke, how Sharp appeared to be clinging to Jude. No, no, it couldn’t be what he thought.
As Tai left the area his suspiciousness only grew, looking back at how Sharpness was around Jude and remembering their interactions, Tai only became more confident in his deduction. Sharpness liked Jude.
Tai chuckled, shaking his head as he walked back to spawn. He could use this against Sharpness, but he didn’t really want to. If anything he was rooting for the couple. Sure they’d be a pain in the ass to deal with, but hey he was a bit of a romantic.
Of course he wouldn’t hesitate to kill either of them given the chance, but he was looking forward to seeing how their relationship would develop. Or specifically to see how Sharpness’ behavior would change because of Jude.
Two.
Tai was looking to trap Jude, sure he had successfully done so once, but that was just one time using Jude’s own trap against him. Carefully he stepped into Jude’s base, he wasn’t sure if the trapper was here, but he needed to look for a good trapping spot or any information that might be helpful to him.
As he ventured deeper into the base he found no sign of the trapper, and just as he sighed a sigh of relief Sharpness spoke behind him.
“What are you doing here?” A sword was pointed to the side of his neck, Tai didn’t dare move. “I asked you what you’re doing here.” Sharpness repeated, the sword coming dangerously close to his neck.
“I’m just looking for Jude.” Tai lied, raising his arms.
Sharpness didn’t reply, but after a couple seconds he spoke again, “What for?”
“I just wanted to ask him something.” If Sharpness found out the real reason Tai was here he’d probably have to say goodbye to his inventory.
Sharpness hummed, however he drew his sword back. Tai carefully turned around, arms still raised in case he changed his mind. Sharpness’ eyes were zeroed on him, analyzing his every tiny movement.
“Jude is out. He won’t be back in a couple hours,” Sharpness said. His tone seemed colder than before, more firm in a way that Tai couldn’t quite pinpoint why.
Tai nodded, slowly lowering his arms when the swordmaster appeared to not want to kill him. Or at least not as much as other times.
“Do you know when exactly he’ll be back.” Tai still had a chance to look around the base if Jude wasn’t going to be back soon.
“No, now leave.” Sharpness pointed to the exit with his head.
Tai chuckled, “And why? It’s not like this is your base.”
At that Sharpness stepped forward, raising his sword against Tai’s neck. “It is,” Sharpness gritted out.
“It is?” Tai asked, confused.
“This is also my base, so get the fuck out.” Sharpness’ eyes were all Tai needed to know that he was serious. Immediately Tai took the opportunity to get the fuck out of there, he ran up the stairs, not bothering to see if Sharpness was following. When he was far enough he finally stopped, so Jude and Sharpness now shared a base, noted. However that did not explain why Sharpness seemed so protective of the place, yeah it was their base, but the swordmaster usually never stayed in a place for too long. Then Tai remembered the scene from the other day, how the swordmaster seemed different when he was with Jude.
Sharpness wasn’t protective of the base itself, but rather a certain trapper. So his theory was correct, Sharpness was different because of Jude. If anything he became scarier, because of it. He really should’ve jumped them when he had the chance, because now Tai was almost certain that Sharp would do anything for Jude.
Three.
It was a chilly evening when Tai spotted Sharpness and Jude walking together, they seemed to be headed somewhere near spawn. They also seemed to be walking relatively closed together, laughing a little too much at what the other said.
Tai really did try his best to ignore them, to continue doing whatever he was just about to do, but curiosity ultimately got the better of him. He potted invisibility and followed them from a distance.
He followed them all the way to a clearing, where in the middle of the field was a picnic blanket, several lanterns illuminating the space fireflies already starting to fly around the field.
“Holy shit.” Tai mumbled, this was clearly a date. A date that Sharpness had organized given how the swordmaster appeared to show Jude the setup. Maintaining his distance, he remained crouched behind some trees, Tai didn’t want to know what would happen if he interrupted the swordmaster’s date.
Tai couldn’t quite hear what they were saying, but as the pair sat down and began eating the atmosphere appeared to be light and fun. However, given Sharpness’ face Tai knew that he had yet to confess to Jude. From Tai’s perspective they each had a crush on each other, having seen them these last few days it was obvious. Apparently it was obvious to everyone except for the two of them. Which would explain why neither of them had confessed already, honestly at this point Tai considered stepping in and doing something, but he decided against it. They had to realize their feelings for each other naturally, otherwise it would become awkward between the teammates.
It had already been an hour since Tai began spying on the pair and while he couldn’t hear them he could see their faces. The love and affection they held for each other, it was both beautiful and infuriating. It reminded him of how Sharpness could still win most fights yet here he was acting all lovey-dovey.
His invis was running out, so without much to do Tai left the pair to do their own thing. He wasn’t sure why he was so invested in their relationship, but he did know he rooted for them.
Four.
Tai knew he wasn’t very good at setting up traps, especially given his history with a certain contraption. However this time the arrow cannon was going to work, well that’s because Noob was the one operating it, after the whole incident apparently Tai was forbidden from coming close to an arrow cannon.
This time Tai would be the bait, while Noob would activate the arrow cannon. This time he would for sure kill Jude with it. It was easy enough to get Jude to log on, then he lured him to where the trap was already set up. His resources were being drained, but it didn’t matter, the trap would work.
Tai dodge a strike from Jude, barely managing to take a swing of his own. He always forgot that Jude was actually decent at pvp, probably because Sharpness had been training him. They continued fighting, each of them landing critical hits on each other.
Then when Jude was at the perfect angle, Tai messaged Noob to pull the lever. Tai saw as the mountain opened, arrows flying towards them. He pushed Jude towards them, his sword falling from his hand.
“This is for the last time.” Tai said, Jude instantly died as the arrows pierced through his chest. His items fell to the ground and as they did Tai celebrated his victory. Finally, he’d finally kill Jude with the arrow cannon. Fuck everyone who laughed at him for messing up, this time he actually did it. He killed the infamous JudeLow.
“Yoooo look at this loot.” Noob said, placing a shulker box and storing the items away.
Tai chuckled, “Come on, before he comes back.” Tai helped Noob store everything away, when they were done Tai quickly placed it in his enderchest.

That had to be a coincidence, there was no way that Jude had managed to get Sharpness on that quickly. But Tai knew better, because of what happened the other day Tai knew that Sharpness was here to kill him.
“We have to get out of here.” He turned to Noob, who raised a brow.
“I’m not joking, Sharp is going to kill us.” He equipped his elytra, and when Noob realized he was serious he also did the same.
In a matter of seconds they were out of the area, they needed to get back to their base.
“How do you know Sharp is after us?” Noob asked as they flew away.
“Because he’s teammates with Jude, and he cares a lot about him.” Tai explained, he wasn’t going to clarify how he knew that, but for Noob that was enough because he trusted his own teammate.
“Okay we’re clos-”

“NOOB!” Tai yelled, watching his teammate’s items fall to the ground.

That could’ve gone better. However as Tai respawned in his base he just laughed, he was uncontrollably laughing to the point that Noob had already regeared and was just staring at his teammate.
“Tai, Tai are you okay? Noob tried his best to help Tai calm down, but he had no idea why his teammate was laughing like that, especially after what happened.
“Oh my god.” Tai whipped a tear from his face, finally being able to breathe again. “Did you see Sharp’s face?” He asked his teammate who only shook his head and Tai laughed again this time only for a couple of seconds.
When Sharpness killed Tai his eyes were a dark green, his face nothing but anger. He was furious because of what Tai had done and he was determined to kill him. Tai had never seen that look in his face and as he died he thought how dangerous it would be to keep messing with Jude. Now he didn’t have to just be careful of Sharpness but also of Jude.
Tai shook his head, “Sharplow is alive and well. Sharplow for the win.”
“Oh my,” Noob sighed. “Do you have to call them that? Don’t they have a duo name or something?”
Tai chuckled, “But Sharplow is Sharplow.” He said, aimlessly walking through the base. Noob really didn’t understand what Tai was thinking. He was ready to go back and fight them, but it seemed that his teammate had other plans.
Five.
It had been a long day, Tai had to regear because he somehow died even though he was meant to kill Sharpness with the lag machine. Well it didn’t matter, because this next machine was sure to lag the shit out of Sharpness and that's when Tai would finally have his revenge.
As Tai was walking back to his base he heard a branch snap. Someone was following him. He made no effort to show he’d noticed and instead kept walking as if nothing happened. Silently he reorganized his inventory for combat, pulling out his sword.
In the distance the forest cleared out, Tai was unhurried, he thought about messaging Noob, but whoever it was, he could deal with them. However what he didn’t know yet was that he was severely mistaken.
“Going somewhere?” Sharpness asked behind him.
“Me? Just going out for a walk.” Tai kept walking, not bothering to provoke the swordmaster, at least not yet.
“Mind if I join you?” He heard Sharpness pulling out his sword. Tai chuckled, finally reaching the small clearing.
“Of course.” He turned around, charging towards the blonde, he immediately reacted, deflecting his attack and swinging his sword at him. It was like a dance, one honed from the years that they spent fighting each other.
They fought until the sky darkened and the moon their only light source, the clatter of metal meeting metal ringing through the entire clearing. Eventually Tai was able to pin Sharpness to the ground, drawing his sword to his neck he taunted him. “Where’s your little boyfriend now?”
Sharpness smiled, his eyes turning that dark green that Tai had only seen once before. “Who said he wasn’t here already?” He knew what that meant and immediately he tried to finish the job. However at that moment Sharpness kicked him and then Tai was falling and falling. He fell into a 1x1 hole, the only thing in front of him was armour stands, hundreds of them.
He swung his sword trying to get rid of as many as he could, but no matter how many he destroyed the number barely dwindled.
“Fucking Sharplow.” Tai cursed, leaning against the obsidian walls.
“So you did know.” Jude said, and Tai could barely see him through the small opening by his feet.
“I did.” Tai sighed, practically accepting his death.
“And you didn’t take advantage of it?” Jude asked, and through the opening Jude noticed how the trapper’s eyes had turned fully black. Not pink nor a shade of crimson, but pure abyss black. Tai was truly and purely fucked.
“No, I didn’t, but now I’m starting to think that I should’ve.” Tai gritted out, closing his eyes as death was waiting for him.
“Yeah, should’ve.”
_Tai was slain by JudeLow
When Tai respawned all he could think about was revenge. He let the couple be their own thing and this was how he was paid? He should’ve just killed them when he had the chance all those weeks ago. Sharplow was going to pay for what they did to him, they were going to regret ever messing with him.
