He sat back from his computer, arms raised over his head, and wriggled to work the kinks out in his back, taking his time to consider just what was going on.
He wasn’t stupid and knew that Peter was trying a Svengali act and being one heck of a thorn in his side while he was at. Did it make Peter less creepy? No it didn’t, but it was starting to make him understandably creepy.
He wasn’t sure if he wanted to follow the path that Peter was trying to push him down, useful though it might be.
The conservation he’d had with his Dad about it hadn’t helped either. And yes, his father was in the know, even if everyone thought he wasn’t. Well, ‘cept maybe Peter.
His Dad thought it was a good idea, but with caveats, and those mostly consisted of not being an idiot. There was family lore and people who understood it that he could talk to, take training from even. Which would mean Peter wouldn’t know what had hit him if he did.
Though, he’d be interested to see what the differences were between his family training and what Peter could teach him. After all, the Gajos family been around since before the Valet family had even existed.
It could be fun, but he had yet to decide. After all, a left hand with magic would be beyond dangerous.
Maybe he could out creep the creep.
