Deep within the mountains glowed a curiously shaped orange-red object. From it emanated darkness that repelled the woodland creatures, but attracted others…
Such was the case with the humanoid figure trekking the mountains searching for the object. A young woman wearing a black gothic dress, her red hair styled to resemble horns.
Soon the woman found what she was looking for.
The woman reached for the object, but she flinched for a moment. The darkness within it was strong.
But darkness was her element, so she shouldered on.
She grabbed the object.
Her eyes glowed red as the darkness surged through her body.
The woman smiled. She had work to do.
Dizzy and Celia were walking down the streets of Auradon.
“And then I said, ‘you and that color? So not matching!’” Dizzy said, frustration seeping through her voice.
Celia shook her head. "Some people just never learn."
They noticed a lot of people running in the opposite direction.
“Huh, what’s that all about?” wondered Celia.
But when she turned to Dizzy, she saw that she had an expression of shock and fear.
Celia followed Dizzy’s gaze, and sure enough her expression matched that of her best friend’s
It was a Kaiju.

Dizzy and Celia panicked.
“What do we do?!” Dizzy exclaimed.
“You tell me!” Celia shot back.
But before they could do anything else, a light appeared in the sky, which then morphed into a giant humanoid figure.
He was silver and red with a few black accents. There was a capsule-shaped blue light on his chest. But his most notable feature was his eyes. They were colored blue and triangular-shaped, and somewhat unsettling, and they made Dizzy and Celia unsure whether the giant was a hero or villain.
“Ultraman?” Celia recognized.
“What?” Dizzy asked, looking at Celia with confusion.
“It’s complicated,” Celia shrugged.
Ultraman engaged in battle against the Kaiju, delivering a kick. But then the Kaiju was able to push Ultraman to the ground.
The two wrestled for a bit, and then Ultraman was able to push the Kaiju off of him.
Another kick, and then a chop.
The Kaiju then breathed fire, which Ultraman dodged.
The Kaiju quickly head-butted the giant on the chest, but then Ultraman repeatedly hit the monster on the back.
The Kaiju was then able to flip Ultraman.
Ultraman tried to stand up, but the Kaiju kept attacking him with its tail. It then stomped on Ultraman’s face.
The light on Ultraman’s chest started blinking red.
“You can do it, Ultraman!” screamed Dizzy, causing Celia to give her a baffled look.
“What, he needs support!” Dizzy defended herself.
Ultraman briefly turned to Dizzy and nodded. He then was able to get the Kaiju off of him with a kick.
Ultraman then grabbed the Kaiju, flipping it over his head.
Ultraman and the Kaiju continued pushing each other around, and then Ultraman grabbed the Kaiju again, throwing it to the ground.
Ultraman then continued attacking the Kaiju, preventing it from standing up.
Ultraman separated himself from the Kaiju. His body started crackling with red lightning. He then put his arms in a + shape.
“WRECKING BURST!”
A powerful blue beam came out of Ultraman’s right hand, hitting the Kaiju on its horn, causing it to explode.
The Kaiju stood still for a moment, and then its body fell to the ground. With another explosion, the Kaiju disappeared.
Dizzy and Celia, watching this unfold, cheered.
Ultraman turned into light, becoming smaller until in his place was a young man.
The man looked around. “I don't understand. The Devil Splinter should be here…”
He turned around as Dizzy and Celia approached him. They saw that he wore a yellow shirt, a blue jacket, and jeans.
“That was so cool!” said Dizzy. She extended her arm.
“I’m Dizzy, and this is Celia,” Dizzy said as she gestured towards the other girl.
“‘Sup,” Celia waved.
The man smiled and shook Dizzy’s hand. “My name is Asakura Riku. I hate to ask, but did you happen to see some kind of… Fragment?”
The two girls were confused.
“Fragment?” Dizzy repeated. “I don't think so. Why?”
Riku hesitated for a bit. “Well… Well you see…”
Riku told the girls of Ultraman Belial. How he betrayed the Land of Light and became a being of darkness. How fragments of his DNA were scattered across the universe, becoming the Devil Splinters that can make Kaiju go berserk.
“At first I thought that Kaiju had it, but if that’s not the case, then I’m afraid someone else has found it and is using it for evil.”
“That’s bad,” nodded Celia. “If that Kaiju was just the beginning…”
“That’s why I have to find it,” Riku declared. “It’s my duty as Belial… As Belial’s son to make sure his evil won't harm the universe again.”
The girls’ eyes widened at Riku’s revalation. Then Dizzy smiled and put a hand on Riku’s shoulder.
“We’ll help you,” Dizzy declared.
Riku was surprised. “Seriously?”
“Of course! We VKs have to help each other out.”
“VKs…” It was Riku’s eyes that widened this time. “Wait, you too?!”
“Yep,” Celia spoke up. “She’s the daughter of Drizella and I’m the daughter of Dr. Facilier. We understand more than you know.”
Taken aback, Riku couldn't help but smile. “I’m not exactly sure where to start though…”
Celia thought for a second. “Well if you're Belial’s son, then your fate must be intertwined with the Devil Splinters.” She smiled as she took out a stack of cards. “I’m good with fate.”
“Alright!” Dizzy cheered. “Let’s do this!”
From the mountains, the mysterious woman looked over Auradon, Devil Splinter at hand, having also watched the battle against the Ultraman and the Kaiju– her Kaiju’s battle.
“Interesting,” she said to herself. She could sense that the Ultraman is connected to the Devil Splinter. Maybe he’ll be of use to her.
“Don't worry father,” the woman said, her grip on the Devil Splinter tightening. “Soon I will set you free…”
