Summary
Yuuji opens his eyes, not realizing he’d closed them, and meets Sukuna’s bright gaze, the same color as his blood. He’s showing his teeth in a mockery of a grin, but Yuuji can see the tension in his jaw and the subtle trembling of his shoulders. His chest is still pried open and bleeding, and he thinks he knows this beast enough to understand the reason why—that if he’s struck by the urge to bury his head inside him and take a bite out of his heart, then it’s only natural to think Sukuna wants that, too.
