Will is so cool.
Of course, Mike already knew that. He'd known that since basically forever. It was hard not to feel proud of himself for figuring it out before anyone else, like everyone who put together how obviously awesome Will is after him owed him some kind of finder's fee. Mike thought it would be pretty nice right about now if the finder's fee was real, because he would be raking it in. If anyone hadn’t managed to figure it out before, Will taking out a demogorgon by hacking into the hivemind should make it obvious.
In which Mike attributes his feelings for Will to friendly admiration, but when Mike begins to rebuild their relationship, it gets harder and harder to rationalize his feelings.
