Work Text:
You are bored out of your mind right now.
The conversation at the dinner table has been bland since the start and, unfortunately, the food has been blander. You and Rolan were generously invited to dinner with a number of other high wizards and sorcerers who had their eyes set on the accomplishments of Baldur’s Gate. As the master wizard of Ramazith’s Tower, Rolan was guaranteed a seat, and you were his plus-one.
But you haven’t had even a scrap of interest in what everyone is talking about, mostly because they’ve been more focused on Rolan than you, so you’ve been sitting here picking at the food on your plate for the last twenty minutes.
Rolan is too busy engaging in the conversation to pay any mind to your tired mood, even though he’s given you a couple apologetic glances because you’ve never been so quiet in your life. It doesn’t annoy you, though, because you understand the importance of tonight, but when you get forgotten for a refill of your wine, you decide you’ve had enough.
And if Rolan isn’t going to speak up for you, then he’s going to get the short end of the stick.
He’s sat across from you, occupied with currently answering someone’s question about his magic, when you slip off your shoe and graze your foot against his boot. His eyes glance to yours, silently asking if you realised you’re touching him instead of the table, but you simply give him an innocent look that has him returning to his conversation.
Perfect. You wait ten seconds more before you move your foot again, this time brushing against his calf. Rolan’s posture immediately tenses and he flicks you a warning gaze, but you are far too bored to play this slowly, so you run your foot up his leg.
His thighs shut when your foot reaches his knee, and you smile to yourself. He’s trying to act like nothing is happening whilst telling you to piss off, but you just shift down your seat and nudge his knees apart.
The second your foot meets his bulge, he gasps. The person beside him asks if he’s alright, and Rolan plays it off with a cough, reaching to grab a sip of his drink. You don’t give him a moment to recover before you’re rubbing at the area, and Rolan chokes on his drink.
You stifle the giggle that’s about to bubble out of you, but then Rolan gives you a look so stern and irate that you clamp your mouth closed. He’s very annoyed and you can tell it’s bad because Rolan’s excusing himself from the table and dragging you with him within the same breath.
His grip on your arm is tight when he pushes you first into an empty washroom, shutting the door behind him and glaring down at you with burning eyes.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” he snaps.
“Isn’t it obvious?” you say, tilting your head.
The chuckle that comes from him is dark and unamused, and he walks you backwards until you hit the wall.
“You think you’re cute, don’t you?” he grumbles, gripping your hips tightly. When you push against him, he snaps your hips back against the wall. “Don’t be greedy.”
“But I’m bored,” you sigh, “and you look so handsome in your robes.”
There’s a little curl at his lips, a momentary pleased grin that fizzles into the heat his body is practically brimming with.
“Shall I quench your thirst for something entertaining, then?” he murmurs, moving his hand down to hook your leg over his waist. “Since you’re so impatient.”
With a dark grunt, Rolan leans forward and begins sucking on your neck, his hands finding plump parts of your body to squeeze. Your breath hitches at the feeling, and then you’re curling your fist in his clothes.
“Not a sound,” he chastises before nipping your skin. “You’re going to stay completely silent, otherwise I’ll stop.”
“You’re a cruel man,” you mutter, then gasp when he smacks your thigh, covering your mouth with his.
He consumes the sound from you like he’s drinking the wine from the table, dragging his teeth against your lips when he parts.
“Silence,” he grunts. “I won’t ask again.”
You have every intention to comply because if this is what you get for teasing him, you’re going to do it a lot more often. Safe to say, you end up enjoying the rest of the night.
