Hartinies has always been the sunny sort, the kind of person who turns feelings into tangible gestures — in this case, lunchboxes packed with care and little handwritten notes. His crush, Corwin, is the so-called Ice Prince, a man who treats the world like it’s on mute, eyes as cold as a midwinter lake. Every attempt Hartinies makes is met with silence, but he persists, convinced that warmth can melt even the iciest heart.
Meanwhile, Hartinies’ twin, Ivories, has a different problem. Mysterious, almost fevered letters arrive for them — not sweet, but obsessive, laced with a strange intimacy that borders on unsettling. Unlike most, Ivories isn’t afraid.
