11:30 pm
Albert kept his hand on the steering wheel, driving past the traffic lights. He felt his eyes drooping, but he needed clothes to wear for tomorrow. The lights seemed to melt as he stared forward onto the dark road.
Once he arrived at the laundromat, he got his clothes out, putting them in a clothing basket as he walked in, the bell dinging as the door opened. Albert looked around, before spotting a creature, crouched on top of some of the washing machines. He paused, staring back at it with a gulp, he spoke, “Who are you?”
The creature tilted its head, staring into his eyes. “I was waiting for you, Albert Aretz.”
Albert felt his heart drop.
He was about to turn back toward the door, before it called out again. “Do not leave. I have a proposal.”
Albert turned his head, looking back into its eyes. “What kind of proposal?”
“I am el Mesías. I will give you 23 hours to kill someone you love.” It snarled, crawling closer.
“What the hell?” Albert dropped his basket, running out of the laundromat and back into his car, speeding off.
