It was a few days after everything played out with the Witches that it happened.
Clawdeen was sitting on her bed when, suddenly, her scars from the Wraith Silver began to hurt, sending shockwaves through her body.
That wasn't all, though. No, the scars then started bleeding.
"Draculaura!?" she called out, panicked. Frankie was out on a date with Cleo, meaning the reclusive vampire was the nearest person to ask for help. "My scars are bleeding"
Draculaura quickly stepped out of her coffin and went to find her spellbook. She flipped through until she found a decent healing spell, and promptly tried it...
Nothing.
"This is bad" the vampire commented. "I'm sorry" she apologized, feeling bad that she couldn't seem to fix this. "I don't know enough about Wraith Silver to be of much help"
"I do" a voice spoke. The two girls turned to find Toralei standing in the doorway, a knowing expression on her face. "Scars bleeding?"
"Yeah"
"They do that sometimes" she sighed, walking up to examine the damage. Draculaura returned to her coffin, not wanting to spend much time in the presence of the werecat. "The pain gets easier after the first couple times, though. Here..."
She reached in her pocket, pulling out a small container of what looked like hand sanitizer. Before Clawdeen could stop her, she was applying it to the bleeding scars.
However, where Clawdeen anticipated burning pain, she was instead met with relief.
"What is this stuff?"
"A concoction of pain reliever and aloe vera" Toralei explained. "Here. Keep this bottle, I have more in my room" she handed the container to the werewolf. "Whenever this happens, just apply some and it will help"
"Thank you, Toralei" Clawdeen smiled, glad both that this wasn't an adverse experience and also that she had a solution for it. "I owe you one"
"You owe me nothing" Toralei smiled. "We share the moon, wolf. We oughtta stick together"
"Still..." Clawdeen breathed. "It's appreciated"
Toralei smirked, winked, and walked out, leaving Clawdeen to wonder about the sudden fluttering feeling stirring in her stomach.
