The Life Games
This takes place on an island known as Java, that is separated into six districts. The End City, The Aether, The Nether, The Pines, The Over World, The Under Ground, and the Far Lands. The Watchers, who live in the End City, host a special series of games known as the Life Games every for years as a way of keeping people in line.
——
Grian is a farming Avian who enjoys architecture and dreams about being a builder despite the fact he can’t. he’s lived in the Far Lands for as long as he can remember. Being an Avian, he had two options of work. It was either he got to fly up into the rocky cliffs of the mountains to find emeralds, or work on a farm twelve hours a day. Logically, his chose to be a farmer. His life is peaceful until he is chosen as one of the next members in the life games, a year long death game where it was kill or be killed.
Scar is a Vex from the Under Ground, who travels among the districts as a merchant. He’s more of a loner, but a friendly one who can get anyone to buy anything with enough charisma. He only has his brother, Cub, who helps him with the shop. When Cub is drafted into the next set of Life Games, he decides to take his brother’s place. He isn’t exactly excited for this… But he fears he has no choice…

Life Games Mechanics:
The Life Games happen every leap year. This one is the forty-eighth thus far. There are six games per Life Game, each having different challenges and objectives. These six rounds are a mouth long with a month in between. In the in between months, you go back to your district until the next game. You have three lives, Green, Yellow, and Red. When on Green, you are passive and not allowed to hunt other players. On yellow, you are allowed to use self defense and traps, and on Red you become hostile and your goal is to killed the rest of the players. Once you loose all of your lives, you’re out of the game until the next one starts. The players are confined to a small arena they are unable to escape.
The six games this time are called “Third Life” Which is the most basic and normal. The next is “Second Life” Which is similar to the first, but with a twist. five days, a ‘Boogie Man’ is chosen at random and secretly turned red. They have to kill someone by the end of the day they are chosen, or they loose a life. The next game is called “Double Life”, where the players are tethered to a pair. If one takes, damage or is injured, so is the other. The next is know as “Lilted Life” where a player, instead of being given lives, they are give a week of time to live. If they get under four days, they are yellow, and if they get under two they turn red and can kill people. If you kill someone, you gain a day of time. Last one standing wins. The Next game is ‘Secret Life’ where a player given a task they must complete by the end of the week. If they fail, they loose a life, but if they don’t, they gain a life. They also have to do all this while keeping their task a secret from the other players. If another player finds out about their task, they can tell the Watcher who lives at spawn and gain a life while the person who was found out looses one. The next and final game is “WildLife”, where at the beginning of the week a player is given a different district class then their own. Other than that, it follows the same rules.
Whoever died first the most amount of times is taken away from their district and never seen again, the one who won the most amount of times is allowed to live in the End City. Those in the middle return home, scarred and often don’t live much longer after they get home.
Before the games start, players must gain sponsors from the humans and Watchers. They do this by showing off their skills, becoming more likable, and gaining compassion. They are judged off of all these factors and given a score.
Players are allowed to change their names to hide under a nick name during the games. Some choose not to.

—
Avians are bird like people whose features range from small feather behind the ears to almost entirely bird like. They are born with white wings, but can choose to change the colors and texture of their wings. They tend to stick together in flocks or families, working on farms and gathering emeralds (main currency) from high mountains. They are not allowed to leave their districts unless authorized by a human or Watcher
Bosses are those with higher powers, and tend to be the best crafts men and are allowed to own independent businesses in the other districts. They are a bit more solitary with family, but form close bonds with friends. They are allowed to leave their districts and even live in a different district if given permission.
Mob Born are the most diverse district, ranging from hostile mobs to passive ones. They tend to be the hunters and lumber jacks for the districts, making sure there is food for everyone. They tend not to be very family or friend driven, but they can still make them. They can leave their district, but tend not to.
The Nether Born are propagandized as hostile at all times, but are in fact quite passive if you leave them alone, They are the main potion and quarts makers, two very important resources in the End City. They tend to be loners, but can still make friends similar to Mob Borns. They are allowed to leave their district for a short period of time.
Monsters are often hostile and keep to themselves, some who are more adventurous choose to be merchants or small business owners, but most stay in the mines. They don’t tend to have large families, a sibling or a single parent usually staying with a child until they are old enough to live on their own.
The humans are completely normal people, however due to them being seen as “pure” by the Watchers, They are placed in high regard. They are appointed as soldiers, law enforcement, and smaller government positions. Their family dynamics change from group to group, but they are social with others both in and outside their districts.
The Watchers are in the highest places of power. Very little is known about them because anyone who questioned their authority either disappears, or is drafted into the next Life Game.

More players will be added or taken out as the games continue, but those are just the main ones for 3rd Life. I’m pretty sure I’ll have Pearl be a Watcher who gets to join the games. You probably noticed that Humans and Bosses have an extra player and that is because they are the two blatant favorites.
I’m not sure how I would do Past Life, Real Life, Nice Life, or Simple Life, so I’m probably not going to add them. If I missed a game, my bad fam.
Anyway, I’m gonna go to bed now 🫶
