At the same time, Clark Kent - along with Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen - is assigned by the Daily Planet to visit Gotham and do a report on Gotham's recovery. Clark, however, has a secondary motive in taking on the Gotham assignment: getting an audience with the Batman.
