Summary
Tim showed up on his doorstep one night, bloody, half-dead. He’d been cagey about the details; Dick still doesn’t know exactly what happened. But he took his baby brother in and nursed him back to health. When hands lingered when he changed dressing, or when his lips brushed over feverish skin, Tim had let out these adorable, contented sighs. He held Dick’s hand on the couch. Slept in his bed, pressed against his side.
Then he was better and he wanted to leave again. Just up and disappear, start over somewhere else. But how could Dick, the loving big brother he is, just let him go out to God knows where, alone, after he’d already gotten himself nearly killed once already?
The collar had been a… souvenir of sorts from an off-world mission.
