Summary
Cameron has had a lot of regrets in life. A lot of them revolve around how often he let himself get pushed around‒by his mother, kids at school, his friends‒whoever. His choice to join the marines was adrenaline rushed and unplanned. When the decision was made, it seemed like the only way out of a life that was destined to hit a dead end.
Now, as he stands in a room full of nervous and sweaty men, he realizes this was yet another regret to add to his ever growing list. To make matters worse, his assigned bunk-mate is some kind of psychotic criminal that he’s already managed to piss off.
