   Summary

   There are three ways to survive in a ruined world. It was sentence, a statement that narrated in my mind. I pictured it, I phrased it, yet no matter how I imagined it, I was ultimately faced with reality.
   Firstly, I was a man, nearing his thirties… Secondly, I lived in a modern world. This world wasn't like anything I read in books. It was dull and full of horrors.
   As the novel I had read and clung to for a decade came to end, I was at a lost in how to survive in a normal world. That was…until I met a "character" I never expected to meet.
