Work Text:
You were a new sinner in hell, and you were having trouble getting used to being down there. One of your friends was Vox, who was also a newer sinner. He had big ambitions to become an overlord. Tonight, you were just overthinking, so you decided to go on a walk.
It was cold and snowy tonight. Hell had this thing where it would either be a blizzardy winter or a smothering summer.
The streets were not that busy because it was snowing, freezing cold, and 3 in the morning. However, the occasional homeless person was trying to stay warm.
The snow coated the ground, your boots leaving prints in it.
Then all of a sudden a snowball fell and hit you in the head.
The cold snow in your hair, you look up to see where it came from.
On the roof of a building, you see Vox snickering to himself.
“Haha, so funny Vox.” You yell at him.
Then you turn down the alley on the side of the building.
There is a ladder to climb to the roof. You climb up the cold metal bars, and some have iceicles on them.
Once you get on the roof, you see Vox looking for you on the ground. Probably gonna throw another one at you. You gather some snow and make a snowball.
“Hey, dumbass!” You call, then Vox turns to look at you.
When he does, you throw the snowball in the center of his screen and laugh at how fast he fell for it.
He wipes his screen with his hands, laughing a bit.
“You got me.” He chuckles, stepping closer to you.
“What are you doing out here on this roof?” You asked him
“Same reason you're on a walk”
He walks back over to the edge of the roof, gesturing for you to follow him.
You step carefully, the roof is a bit slippery with ice and snow.
Vox sits on the edge of the building with his legs dangling over the side. Patting the spot next to him.
“If I fall and crack my skull open, it's your fault.” You half-jokingly muttered, sitting next to him.
“I wouldn’t let that happen,” He said, smiling, putting his arm around your shoulder.
He always did this cute smile, which made your heart skip a beat.
“The reason I am up here is because of the view.” He pointed forward, to the city.
It was a view of most of hell, the moonlight and the snow made this beautiful scene. For once, hell didn’t seem so bad.
“It's beautiful.” You say in awe.
“Not as beautiful as you.” He muttered, smiling at you with a bit of light blue blush on the sides of his screen.
Then his screen shifts to embarrassment, as you look at him with a bit of blush.
“Fuck, did I say that out loud?!” Vox asked himself, taking his arm off of you. Instead, Vox rested his hands in his lap, looking at them with embarrassment.
You place one of your hands on his, which causes him to look up at you.
Then you lean in and kiss Vox on his lips.
His face immediately turns a bright blue blush. But he leans into the kiss instead of pulling away.
Finally, he pulls away with his face glitching, looking like his head might overheat. There was hot are coming out of the vents on his head.
“I-I ummm…. I-I Bye!” He glitches, saying it, then runs away. Trying to hide his fluster as he climbs down the building. Probably going home to not fall asleep.
You stay there for a bit thinking about him for a bit, before going back home yourself.
As you walked, you thought of how cute his flustered face was, and how he almost overheated, and how he didn’t pull away from the kiss earlier.
