Summary
I started writing this San/San smut about ten years ago but got bogged down because every time I tried rereading the books again to get all the voices and timeline details right, I just couldn't make much headway. The show was not for me. I made it through a couple episodes of the first season, but no farther. Maybe someday when the world is less bleak, I'll reread the series and revisit this fanfic (and actually get to the smutty parts), but even if I don't, I've realized that I like the emotional/character arc that Sansa goes through here. In my head canon, they do eventually run away together and have lots of very intense, slightly terrifying sex, but apparently that's not what this fic wants to be, and I've made my peace with that. I still like it, and figure I'll finally post it.
Set in the immediate aftermath of the tourney. Goes slightly non-canon, but definitely not full AU.
