On a night when all the sea creatures that lived there were celebrating the return of an old hero named Samekichi, a not-so-short girl with short, snowy hair with red streaks, including two that extended behind her like two antennae, appeared. Her golden eyes twinkled among the stars. She sighed as she leaned on her arms on the balcony. Her white furisode fell beneath her slender, airy arms, which relaxed in a way:
— Oh, Mr. Meikai… — she said by the moonlight, in a melancholic tone as she gazed at the "moon" at the bottom of the sea.
— Hey there. — A figure in a black suit with a dishonest smile approaches, smoking. The boy also had pale skin and an appearance similar to a black-haired orca — Thinking about something unfeasible again?
— So you showed up… — she said, stepping away from the balcony and walking towards the orca man.
— Well... I'm just an orca on a stroll. — his relaxed gaze somewhat bothered the regalacidae, who showed a hint of anger towards him.
— Were you even invited? — she crossed her arms.
— I’ve told you, I'm just on a stroll. — he sported the same carefree smile as he lifted her by the waist, making her blush an orange color.
— Put me down, Idate! — the woman struggled, but to no avail. She, then, allowed being lifted by the man.
— Speak more quietly, not everyone down here knows my real name… — he replied, setting her down on the ground again, confused. He resumed his cigarette.
— You should stop smoking. — she sat on the floor with her legs crossed. He looked at her, puzzled.
— Never. — and he sat down beside her — But getting back to the subject... — his gaze turned to the moon — The moon is beautiful, isn't it? It was restored at the end…
— “Moon.” — she emphasized the word, with an affectionate smile on her lips.
— Oh? — he was surprised by the response. He fixed himself and returned his focus to his cigarette, taking a puff out of it — But anyway... I wanted to let you know that you don't need to worry about the shark. — he flashed a wicked smile. Tatsumiya chuckled softly and looked at the "moon" again. She put her head between her knees and mentioned Meikai once more. The orca avoided touching on the sore spot. — The fireworks… — he pointed, making the girl crane her neck.
— They're beautiful… — she whispered, with a gentle, cheerful smile.
— Nah, you're more. — Idate said, making the girl blush and snap out of her thoughts. Realizing she was lying in the man's lap, she quickly sat up, her face the same color as her hair, and pointed at him.
— Shut up! — said angrily, resuming her focus to the fireworks.
— You're blocking my view, girl. — he smirks.
— Didn’t you say I was prettier? — somehow, she was ready to comeback any of his comments in record time, with an ironic tone that could catch anybody. He smiles, stands up and comes up behind her, placing his hands on the girl's smooth shoulders. Tatsumiya pushes him away and heads towards the party.
— Bye bye. — he says, smiling and placing the cigarette between his lips. A loving smile appeared on her face, accompanied by the words, "See you later, orca on a stroll." The man leaned against the balcony and looked at the "moon" — Relax, Meikai. I'll take care of her. — he said, walking towards her, intending to invite her to dance, which might happen…
— Leaving already? — she asked, watching him sneak out of the castle.
— Huh? Who are you to worry about me? — he stretched out his hand, obviously inviting her. She stood still for a moment, carefully considering what she was going to do.
— Idate... — she says — Sorry, but...
— I don't need that. — he picked her up in his arms and began to dance. The woman quickly surrendered and followed him, veering with each step. — What? I thought you'd like it. — he brought her face closer to his.
— Can't you just wait for my answer?! — already irritated, she stomped her feet. He hesitated.
— If it's a “yes”, I'll wait. — he puffs some smoke.
— It is impossible to talk to you… — she relaxed her arms as she sighed. They looked at each other. — As far as I know, you're just taking a stroll, so why do you always come here?
— For you. — she blushes and looks down – Relax, I already told Meikai. – she quickly raises her head and stares at him with bloodshot eyes, but a smile that shows great joy. Idate also smiled — Just a little kiss?
— You'll have cigarette breath. I refuse. — she jokes, but the orca forcefully holds her, their lips touching for a small fraction of a second — Argh, that smoker's taste...
— Get used to it. I won't be able to choose between my two greatest loves.
— Cute, but no. – she returns to the hallway leading to the party. He laughed in a way that Tatsumiya liked. After he left, she whispered to herself — Meikai... I'm speechless... But I really hate cigarettes. — and smiled.
