And in some way, Shiyuan understood how one could develop such a selfish mindset; it was the one he had regarding his sister and the cursed sword of hers. Yet despite everything the proxy and his sibling had gone through, they remained kind and caring.
It was Wise’s unending patience that drew him to him, that even in scenarios like this, he stayed. And selfishly, Shiyuan allowed himself to be utterly devoured by the other man’s attention.
