Old Hope, Old people

Summary:

That's crazy how I came up with it, but here we go. Leia was raised by Obi-Wan, while Luke was raised by Darth Vader. Leia is force sensitive from beginning, and joined Resistance, hoping to overthrow Empire. The events are pretty much the same as in A New Hope, but Leia takes role of both her and Luke. While Luke is on Emperor’s side, and it no so active in that part.

Notes:

I came up with this, while scrolling Tumblr. So cool art with Skywalkers siblings, and it reminded of a scene from the owl house ( and just Luz and Hunter dynamic) and my brain did some work and here we go. Not sure if I will do a lot of this au, but let's see if people will like it.

Chapter Text

-"Obi-Wan Kenobi, dear father please help us." - Leia's voice was barely above whisper as she leaned forward the Droid. She needed to let him know. -"On this droid is the files that are really important for resistance. They will help with deafening Empire. Not sure if you will receive it..when I left you, you were alredy an old man."

Her mind flicked back to the moment when she left her father, deciding to join Resistance against Empire in a hope of better future. Obi-Wan didn't say anything against it, but was full of concern. It was sad to see him like that, but she was certain on her decision. All the risks that would come with it were considered, and she was ready for anything.

Leia Kenobi joined Resistance, and didn't see her father for the next 3 years. Now the ship where she and her people stayed hidden while trying to sneak away with the information for Resistance was attacked by Empire's forces. She needs to act quickly.

-"But I hope you are still all right. And when you will get this message, I hope I will be alright too. " - she heard steps coming closer. She turned back to R2D2. -" Help me father. "

She quickly stopped recording. Now she was talking directly to droid.-" This record and information are really important. Keep it safe. And yourself too." - she glanced at another more like human golden droid. -" And him probably too."

The two droid started their walk, while she stood straight now. With one quick move she fixed her Resistance jacket, and moved hair behind the shoulders. Stormtroopers were getting closer. The second she saw one of them, she pointed her hand at him and pushed away with Force.

One thing that was good from the boring days on Tatooine was that Kenobi had taught her simple Force basics. She had her own lightsaber, but to be fair it was more for show. She wasn't really good with it. So usually she just used blaster.

Few more came in, and she knew she didn't stood a chance against so many at once. Plus at least three more came from behind. She wasn't suicidal, so she raised her hands in surround.

She wasn't a fan of that, in fact she hated loosing. But better alive than dead. They took all her weapon, and put the handcuffs ( how rude) and led her through the halls. Why didn't she use Force? Well..did she mention she just knew basics, not how to do those cool mind tricks?

While being forced to walk through the hall, she caught a figure of a Dark Guard. Oh, she hated that guy. Always so busy, always around Vader, always annoying little ... ( She didn't say what she wanted, cause father kept saying that swearing, even if it's in her mind, not the best idea.) Anyways, he was also here. In her mind she swore that if she will ever see his face, she will break his nose. He had always had this stupid mask on, just as Darth Vader.

Speaking of which, was standing right farther the hallway. She looked up at him with the same cold look she would have look at the sand people on Tatooin. Which meant without any good feelings. -" Lord Vader, I should have predicted that you would be the one with so much boldness to attack our ship like this. "

-"Princess Leia, we both know that it's not just a ship, but a ship of resistance. And that would be my business." - his voice was deep and heavy. Loud and strong breathing echoing through the tunnels.  And how she hated when somebody not from resistance called her "princess". She wasn't a real one through. That was a nickname/ title she earned through her time there. And nobody else can use it.

-"That is not a ship of resistance. You just attack innocent people, just as usual."

-"I have no time for this complains. Where is the files that your pathetic resistance tried to get?"

-"What files?" - that was a small and naive ragebait, but it also seemed to work just as perfectly. The tension in the air was so hard, that some other humans that were in the same area preferred to look away.

-"Let's see how stubborn you will be after our another talk." - he gave a signal, and stormtroopers pushed her farther the hallway. She didn't care.

She had sent the droids, the files are safe. If they will reach her father it will be even better. But whatever the case, everything would be fine. It's supposed to.
