Summary
When he'd finally met Dr. Robinavitch he got to see just how impressive the man was. He worked in the ER pragmatically and wasn't afraid to lead with decades of experience. Dennis felt quite enraptured by him and as his first shift went on he'd even felt they'd had some sort of... connection?
Then Pitt Fest happened, and when Dennis found Dr. Robby on the floor of peds everything seemed to shift. Dennis saw the man differently, not in a bad way. But he saw through the cracks of a man who was being held together by a faulty foundation and Robby decided he would never forgive him for that.
When Dennis had returned reluctantly to the ER for his next shift of the rotation, the man who had once worn his heart on his sleeve was replaced by an unrelenting brick wall.
