Summary
The term 'Truthmaker' comes from the philosophy of Truthmaker Theory. It is a power-struggle between truth, and its physical, observable being. An argument that should have been settled by now: the world is the way it is because of what we can observe about it. Ranpo had thought as much. His life's work depended on this being fact, because if his own observations couldn't be trusted, then his assumptions would crumble before his own conceived reality.
Reality would dictate this man to be a deranged fanatic who happened to be on the same case as him. But in truth?
