The sun had gone up already, but rin doesn't seem to wake up any soon.
Knock knock knock.
Barely up from his slumber, he passes a glance with a slightly furrow in his eyebrows, annoyed he was waken up.
"...what d'ya want???"
The door is slammed open with a familiar face. She doesn't look too happy. "My goddddddd! Why does it take you so long to get up???? We have training today." Ray is one step away from kicking him of the bed, but she has to save every bit of energy for the hell they call training. "Both shi-oto and hiro-nii will be there."
"????"
"?!!?!?!"
"Both of them?!?!?!"
"Yes now get up before I kick you." Ray turned to her heel and left. Well this'll be hell.
Rin got up and went to the bathroom, quickly finishing then went to his room to change. He'll carry his uniform in his bag while wearing casual clothes.
He went out of his room to the living room just to get flashed by the sunlight coming from the window, instinctively covering his eyes with his arms. 'Ohhhh my goddd I'm gonna kill myself it's already bad enough I can't sleep.'
"Are you allergic to a brush?" It sounded more like a statement than a question.
"Shutcho' ass up bro. You've said that enough." Rin faces to the face that is gyu.
"If you guys take more time, I'm beating you both up." Nel simply does not look happy. "Ray, 'kigai and shun are already in the car."
The three trud their way to the car.
Ikigai, as always, is driving, ray is in the back, listening to music, shun is in the middle row fidgeting and... editing??? Whatever. Gyu lifts up the seat to join Ray, then shifts it back into place. "I'm going to sleep in the middle. go sit in front, riri."
"Alright." The mentioned boy goes into the passenger seat while the girl goes to the middle row.
"Mornin'." "I'd say good morning but it isn't." Ikigai chuckles at that.
"Where do you guys wanna eat breakfast? And nel, don't sleep already."
"Let's go to..."

after training.
2 : 06 P.M.
He had just gotten home when he saw a mail. It's not often he gets them, ever since he moved away from his parents' house(If they can still be called one).
He took the mail aggressively and went inside, tired from the training.
Him and the others split to do different things, so they aren't home yet. He kicked his shoes off and went to the living room, putting his bag next to him.
He doesn't get letters often, since there's technology, so he's curious. He peels off the embel and reads it.
Hello Rin Itoshi. Or should I say, Rin Takahami?
Well, he isn't too pleased to see his old surname, but at least they corrected themselves.
We, the blue lock academy, hereby invite you to join our program of soccer in this school.
He hasn't played for years. Yikes...
But why should you? You might've thought.
Yes he did.
This program is made for strikers that can stay selfish and devour all the other rough diamonds. Only one egoist to live through everything.
The 'rough diamond' reminds him of shi-sensei, he might know something about it so he'll ask him after.
But a elimination-style program? He definitely cant resist crushing others.
It's made for egotistical strikers to bloom their full potential, if you have any.
If you can't handle such trivial things, then lock off.

He's behind the couch, sensing that something felt wrong and he was right.
"What's that?" The brunette asked.
Rin looks back to the letter, "it's an invitation for a school academy or somethin', telling me to go for soccer programs and stuff."
A flash of recognition flashes through ikigai's eyes. "Oh! Is it blue lock? I saw an email from your laptop. They asked you to join 'cuz of your grades."
"My skill and grades? They really want both huh."
"Well if ya wanna, you can. One of us can tag along too."
A comfortable silence to let the green-haired boy think.
"Wouldn't it be funny if we acted like we didn't know each other???" Rin said aloud. He loved seeing people's reactions.
Ikigai was amused by such idea, he isn't rarely since they get in trouble, but this one doesn't seem too bad. "I'm down."
Rin grins at him, ikigai smirks back.
But that grin falters. "Do you think.. sae will be there? He said something like that before... cutting me off."
See, haruhaki knew him very well. So he knew Sae had a place that was irreplaceable. Even if Rin didn't look up to him like a God anymore.
"If he does something to you. I'm seriously gonna kick him." The taller boy reassured him, completely serious. It made Rin smile abit.
"Well, I'm gonna text shi-sensei for more info. God knows where shi-sensei can get these information."

A minute had passed
Shihou : blue lock academy is a school focused on sports and intelligence. Ego being a soccer fanatic, while anri being a academic prodigy. Ego's goal is for the world cup, while anri's is academic excellence. They both agreed to open a new program for figure skaters, basketball players, and volleyball players but there hasn't been any invitations sent.
Shihou : I know you want to join the soccer program since its a survival-like game. Even though it's a survival one, after eliminating a bunch of people, there will a few teams left, enough to go against each other.
Rin : can I join both??? Iki will also join cuz I don't wanna go alone.
Shihou : yes you both can join the academy and yes you can join both. I'll be your legal guardian while ikigai's foster mother will be his.
Rin : you still don't like her huh
Shihou : shut up kid you don't either
Rin : true
Rin : thanks dad, me n iki owe you 🥹✌️
Shihou : You don't, now go get prepared since you guys have 3 days.
Rin : THREE DAYS ONLY???

"...we have 3 days to pack out stuff and go to the dormitories." Rin voiced out grimly then put his phone on his lap.
They were sitting on the couch, rin leaning on the bigger boy to show him the text messages.
"Well, I wanna join both, what about you rinnie???"
"Can't say I can only choose one, so guess ill be seeing you more now!" Thinking about the fact that he won't see ikigai any less makes it better.

Rin glabs his phone from his lap to check what it is.
"What is it?" The younger boy (BY. A. MONTH.) asked.
"Apparently, reo, ness, Michael kaiser and ------ are also gonna be there. And sae I guess..." the last part muttered like an afterthought.
"Can't wait to surprise them, then." Said boy smirked.
"Yeah what ever let's make out-"
