   Summary

   Traumatized nurse finds peace after World War II, gets happily married but due one misunderstanding he isn't able to come back to his wife. He gets used to living in the past, meets people and returns to medicine, saving a pale man's life. They grow closer with each passing journey, yet Protagonist's secret remains hidden. He desperately tries to find a way back to his times. Only lies can keep him alive but for how long?
