Summary
Ted left his family. He left them to deal with the pain of his absence to hide in his mother’s house and karen hated his guts. Karen told everyone he was just caring for his mother who was terribly ill with cancer, in hopes he would come back and they could have the perfect nuclear family she’s always wanted. The only person that saw right through that sorry excuse was Joyce Byers. Karen Wheeler hated that. And she hated how strongly she gravitated towards Joyce. It started off with an awfully embarrassing accident, then developed into a spiral of intimacy and obsessive desires. A close friendship lit with an ever burning fire. Joyce was breaking down Karen’s perfect and deeply involved suburban mom facade. Karen couldn’t help but desire more of it.
There were no limits to how far Karen Wheeler would go to protect her family. And she does something dreadful for that purpose. Joyce’s infatuation for her lover knows no bounds.
