Summary
When Fitz was a child, he didn't understand why his mum was so grateful that no one could see his soulmark. As he grew up, he started to understand—the marked are rare and secretive. After all, who would ever want to admit that they are bound by fate in a world where no one else is?
Fitz is determined to defy his destiny and make his own mark on the world. He wouldn't want anyone other than Jemma as a soulmate anyway.
