February 14th - 6pm. Montreal vs Boston.
It wasn't often that Shane and Ilya got to spend a whole night together during regular season. So when their game falls on Valentines day, with a few days off after, it is no suprise that they plan in using that time to their advantage.
The Metros were flying the WAGs to Boston for WAGs night since it was Valentines Day. They also gave the guys a chance to sleep in with a late afternoon flight home. Seeing as Jackie was coming with the WAGs, Shane knew he'd have no problem sneaking out to spend his night with Ilya. After all why wouldn't Hayden want the hotel room for him and his wife.
While Shane may not be expecting anything, Ilya has big plans for their first Valentines Day together as boyfriends. Ilya usually isn't the big romantic gesture one in the relationship, but something about this just felt right. He got up extra early on February 14th just to make sure everything was perfect for their night together.
