    Mating seasons for divine shapeshifters and gods varied between the types of species one could shape-shift into or were born as.
    For some, mating seasons were a quick fix to rid themselves of the influx of hormones. For others, it was a long, drawn out process that could be painful for those experiencing it.

    All in all, mating seasons were vital to allow all divine beings to express their most primal needs for as long as possible and whilst some were brave (or stubborn) enough to ride out the hormonal storm alone, some were lucky enough to have a partner who could help them properly and allow them to recover quicker once the hormones and the breeding instincts passed.
