Chapter 1: Versus the White Zygarde

Chapter Text

Amethio stepped in front of his grandfather, Gibeon, with his Ceruledge by his side. Gibeon angrily grunted as he saw his grandson attempt to defy him.

“My grandson, all this time it has been only you. The one I wanted to lead the Explorers,” Gibeon frowned at Amethio in disappointment.

“I never thought you would stand against me,” he continued.

“You still don’t understand, do you?” Amethio responded, confidence and hope in his voice.

“I’m not here to stand against you. I’m here to protect you,” he turned to look at the younger members of the Rising Voltacklers; Liko, Roy, Dot, and Gemma.

“I’m not strong enough. Will you battle alongside me?” He asked them. Gemma, Dot, and Roy looked at Liko, wondering what they should do.

Without hesitation, Liko decided to help Amethio, and the other three nodded in agreement, as well as their Pokémon. The three of them stood next to Amethio, all five trainers ready to battle and stop Gibeon from extracting the Laquium. Amethio and his Ceruledge. Liko and her Floragato. Roy and his Crocalor. Dot and her Quaxwell. Gemma and her Sylveon. They all grabbed their Tera Orbs.

(Liko) “Floragato! Shine in full bloom!”
(Roy) “Let’s do it, Crocalor! Sparkle, gem of dreams!”
(Dot) “Quaxwell! Start trending, create buzz, and shine!”

Liko, Roy, and Dot all tossed their Tera Orbs to their Pokémon, Terastilizing Floragato, Crocalor, and Quaxwell respectively.

"I will cut my own path forward! Ceruledge!” Amethio tossed his own Tera Orb, Terastilizing his Ceruledge.

“Sylveon! It’s time to shine!” Gemma exclaimed, tossing her Tera Orb and Terastilizing her Sylveon.

All five trainers and their now Terastilized Pokémon stood confidently and determined in front of the White Zygarde.

Gibeon stared at the five trainers as the machines surrounding everyone continued to pound the earth, causing the Laquium crystals to creep taller and taller.

“We’re moments away from activating the core,” Spinel spoke to himself, staring at the crystals.

The Six Heroes and Pagogo watched nearby.

“Brace yourselves. Pagogo’s gearing up to purify the Laquium,” Friede said, glancing back at Pagogo who was gathering massive amounts of energy from the Six Heroes.

“Okay, let’s go,” Liko said, and the others nodded and exclaimed in agreement. The five Pokémon got into battle ready stances, preparing for whatever came next.

“Let’s all attack at once. Ceruledge, use Psycho Cut!” Amethio shouted, instructing his Ceruledge and beginning the battle.

(Liko) “Floragato, use Magical Leaf!”
(Dot) “Quaxwell, use Aqua Cutter!”
(Roy) “Crocalor, use Flamethrower!”
(Gemma) “Sylveon, use Moonblast!”

Ceruledge swung its blade arm, launching a large Psycho Cut attack. Floragato twirled its bud and fired a swarm of Magical Leaves. Quaxwell’s wing glowed bright blue as it launched an Aqua Cutter. Crocalor fired a large blast of flames at the White Zygarde. Sylveon’s ribbons gathered in front of it before it charged up and blasted a ball of mystical energy.

The White Zygarde leaned out of the way of the Psycho Cut, ducked under the Magical Leaf and Aqua Cutter. It swerved past the Moonblast and just took the Flamethrower attack.

“I should have known this wouldn’t be so easy,” Amethio grunted, clenching his fist.

“Then let’s try separate attacks. Maybe individually we’ll do more damage,” Liko suggested.

Gemma looked at Liko and smiled, recognizing that it was a good idea.

“Zygarde is a Dragon and Ground-type Pokémon. So a super-effective attack would be Crocalor’s DIsarming Voice or Sylveon’s Moonblast,” Dot said, suggesting possible attacks they could use to damage the White Zygarde.

“Right. We’ll close in and attack just like when we fought Rayquaza,” Roy responded, liking the plan.

“Sylveon isn’t great at close-quarters, but we’ll try our best,” Gemma answered, giving a small smile. Everyone nodded at each other, understanding the new plan. Protect Crocalor and Sylveon while they hit Zygarde with super-effective attacks.

“Okay, Floragato. Use Quick Attack!” Liko instructed. Floragato meowed in acknowledgment and rushed forward.

“Quaxwell, use Low Kick!” Dot instructed, and Quaxwell acknowledged, and rushed forward alongside Floragato.

Both Pokémon ran on either side of the White Zygarde, attempting to flank it. It looked to both sides, trying to figure out who to attack.

“Crocalor, close in!” Roy instructed. Crocalor obeyed and ran forward on all fours, running between Floragato and Quaxwell.

“Sylveon, you too!” Gemma instructed. Sylveon let out a “Ve!” as acknowledgement before running in behind Crocalor.

“Do it now! Use Disarming-” Roy was cut off.

“Zygarde, use Land’s Wrath on them,” Gibeon commanded.

Zygarde obeyed, and was suddenly surrounded by an earthly aura that exploded beneath it, surging towards the four Pokémon and launching them into the air. They landed on the ground with a thud, groaning as they attempted to stand.

“They can’t even get close,” Gemma said, gritting her teeth.

Crocalor managed to stand, and then exclaimed in mild confusion and Ceruledge rushed past the other four at blinding speeds. It charged its blade arms with ghostly energy.

“Now, Ceruledge, use Shadow Claw!” Amethio instructed.

Ceruledge exclaimed in acknowledgment, and dark purple energy surrounded its blades. It spun around and was about to strike the White Zygarde.

“Use Core Enforcer,” commanded Gibeon.

Zygarde began charging up the attack as bright green energy gathered near its beak. It fired, hexagonal shapes and bright green and white energy surrounding and overpowering Ceruledge, blasting it back. The beam then drew a Z shape on the ground beneath Floragato, Quaxwell, Crocalor, and Sylveon. A bright green energy erupted from the attack, damaging all but Sylveon, who was unaffected, but still worried for its allies.

“It matters little how many of you there are,” Gibeon spoke.

“Any who dare stand against us will be shattered,” Gibeon clenched his fist, squeezing tightly to emphasize how serious he was.

“So this is the power of Zygarde, huh?” Friede said from the sidelines, nervous for his allies battling.

“Land’s Wrath seems to crumble the ground under you, so be careful,” Liko said, explaining what the attack appears to do.

“Okay, so we go with an aerial attack, then,” Dot suggested.

Roy looked around, and then gasped when he saw a piece of the ground that looked like a ramp.

“Crocalor, use Flame Charge going that way!” He pointed at the ramp, instructing Crocalor to use it.

Crocalor let out a “Lor!” before charging towards the piece of ground with flames surrounding him. He ran up the ramp, and leapt up, attempting to strike the White Zygarde. But it was useless.

“Use Thousand Arrows,” Gibeon commanded, ordering Zygarde to use another attack.

Green energy gathered around Zygarde’s beak once again, and green, hexagonal shaped beams of energy fired from it, raining down on Crocalor and striking it from the sky. Roy shouted, distraught. The attack started to rain down towards Floragato, Quaxwell, and Sylveon.

Liko, Dot, and Gemma instructed their Pokémon to avoid the attack, and they obeyed, managing to dodge most of the damage. Amethio then instructed Ceruledge to run between the falling arrows, getting behind Zygarde.

“Excellent. Now use Shadow Claw!” Amethio instructed.

Zygarde anticipated the attack, and jumped away, leaving Ceruledge to swipe at nothing.

“Use Core Enforcer,” Gibeon commanded. Zygarde fired the attack from the air down at Ceruledge. Just before it struck, Liko instructed Floragato to grab Ceruledge with its bud. Floragato did just that, and managed to pull Ceruledge out of the way just before the attack struck.

Ceruledge thanked Floragato, and it and the other Pokémon looked back at the White Zygarde.

“Hey, Amethio, Don’t forget we’re a team here,” Liko said, turning to face Amethio.

“Yeah, we’re supposed to be battling together,” Roy added.

Amethio nodded, re-acknowledging this before turning to look at the White Zygarde.

“Can’t attack from the ground and aerial attacks won’t work, either,” Dot mumbled, trying to assess the situation.

“So, what’s left?” Gemma asked, turning to look at Dot.

“Whatever it is, we just gotta keep fighting,” Roy exclaimed.

“What, do we just jump right in?” Dot questioned.

“It’s not a bad strategy. We can’t win if we don’t come up with new offensive measures,” Amethio said, looking at the other four trainers. Liko nodded in agreement.

“Floragato, use evasive maneuvers to close in!” Liko instructed. Floragato meowed in acknowledgement and the others all followed along.

“Persistent pests. Use Thousand Arrows,” Gibeon commanded.

Zygarde obeyed, and once again charged up the attack and fired, sending hexagonal energy falling towards the approaching Pokémon. They all managed to dodge the attacks.

“Come on, I need a hint. Give me something, anything,” Dot mumbled, trying to find an opening.

Floragato looked at the ground as the hexagonal cells began moving back towards Zygarde. Dot gasped and had an idea. While its cells are regathering, they would attack. The others nodded in acknowledgment.

The trainers all instructed their Pokémon to start charging towards Zygarde before leaping in the air.

“How pathetic. Use Thousand Arrows. Shoot them down,” Gibeon commanded once again.

While Zygarde was charging the attack, the trainers all instructed their Pokémon to dodge the attack, which they all did, before leaping up once again while Zygarde gathered its cells.

“There’s an opening! Sylveon, Moonblast!” Gemma exclaimed, pointing at the White Zygarde.

(Liko) “We’ve got this. Use Magical Leaf!”
(Roy) “Disarming Voice. Go!”
(Dot) “Use Liquidation!”
(Amethio) “Use Shadow Claw!”

The Pokémon all charged up their attacks, but Gibeon had other ideas.

“Use Thousand…” Gibeon spoke, and everyone gasped, thinking it was about to use Thousand Arrows again.

“...Waves,” Gibeon finished the command, telling Zygarde to use Thousand Waves.

Zygarde obeyed, and it began to glow bright white before dispersing into hexagonal shaped cells. The five Pokémon looked in confusion before the cells all exploded around them in a whirlwind. The cells returned to their previous form of Zygarde as the five Pokémon fell to the ground with a thud.

“Now Core Enforcer,” Gibeon commanded, not giving the five trainers and their Pokémon a chance to recover.

“Ceruledge, use Phantom Force!” Amethio instructed, and Ceruledge used Phantom Force to get all five of the Pokémon out of harm’s way, before the Core Enforcer attack struck.

Gibeon looked above Zygarde, and let out a slight gasp as the Phantom Force materialized above Zygarde, letting all the Pokémon finally hit their attacks.

Ceruledge struck with Shadow Claw, Quaxwell smacked it with Liquidation, Floragato and Sylveon blasted it with Magical Leaf and a super-effective Moonblast respectively, and Crocalor hit it with a super-effective Disarming Voice.

“Yes! That was super-effective!” Friede exclaimed, commenting on the Moonblast and Disarming Voice.

The Explorers watched with annoyance.

“Nice, Crocalor!” Roy exclaimed, and Crocalor responded with pride.

“Thanks, Amethio, I mean it,” Liko said, looking at Amethio. Amethio nodded in response.

“No need to thank me. We were all in sync,” Amethio responded before looking back at the battle.

The five Pokémon were all congratulating each other for finally landing a hit on Zygarde.

“I never thought Zygarde would take damage. I was careless,” Gibeon spoke with bitterness before looking directly at the five trainers, who gasped in slight intimidation.

“Don’t worry, we’ll be okay,” Liko said, speaking to her friends and looking at each of them. They all looked at her.

“We can’t let him get to us. We’ll stay strong, together,” Liko spoke with determination. The others nodded, and Gemma smiled at Liko with admiration.

“Zygarde, don’t you dare hold back. Unleash Core Enforcer,” Gibeon ordered, this time with an undertone of malice in his voice.

Zygarde fired Core Enforcer and the five Pokémon once again.

“Sylveon, use Protect!” Gemma instructed, and Sylveon jumped in front of everyone to shield them with a large barrier. Crocalor and Floragato ran past the barrier once it lowered, rushing towards Zygarde.

“Core Enforcer one more time,” Gibeon commanded.

(Roy) “Use Flamethrower!”
(Liko) “Use Magical Leaf!”

The Flamethrower and Magical Leaf attacks collided with the Core Enforcer beam, stopping it momentarily.

(Dot) “Quaxwell, use Aqua Cutter!”
(Amethio) “Ceruledge, use Psycho Cut!”

The Aqua Cutter and Psycho Cut attacks, combined with the Magical Leaf and Flamethrower, managed to stop the Core Enforcer, creating a black smoke cloud.

“Thousand Waves!” Gibeon ordered, and the attack struck all five Pokémon, covering them in a whirlwind of Zygarde’s cells.

(Liko) “Hang in, Floragato!”
(Roy) “Crocalor, you got this!”
(Dot) “Do your best, Quaxwell!”
(Amethio) “Hold the line, Ceruledge!”
(Gemma) “Sylveon, hang in there!”

The Pokémon all groaned in pain as the cells battered them. The whirlwind cleared, and they all stood up. The trainers grinned and smiled.

While Zygarde reformed itself, the trainers instructed their Pokémon to attack.

(Liko) “Use Acrobatics!”
(Roy) “Disarming Voice!”
(Dot) “Use Liquidation! Go!”
(Amethio) “Use Shadow Claw, Now!”
(Gemma) “Use Moonblast!”

The Pokémon all rushed towards Zygarde, and leapt up towards it.

“Do not falter, Zygarde!” Gibeon ordered.

Zygarde deflected Floragato’s Acrobatics, took Cracalor’s Disarming Voice, shook off Quaxwell’s Liquidation and Ceruledge’s Shadow Claw before smacking Sylveon into the ground.

“Wait, Gibeon planned this!” Friede exclaimed, his voice not subtle with worry.

Spinel chuckled to himself.

“Now, Land’s Wrath,” Gibeon ordered.

Zygarde slammed the ground, and it began to glow orange and then green as it struck all five Pokémon, who were engulfed in a bright white light. When they emerged, their Tera Crystals shattered and they fell to the ground with a thud. The five trainers all gasped in fear.

“Sylveon!” Gemma yelped, rushing over to grab her injured Pokémon without thinking.

“Gemma, wait!” Liko called out, trying to get Gemma to stop, but she didn’t and knelt by her Sylveon, who was now fainted. She picked up her Pokémon, and looked at Crocalor, Floragato, Quaxwell, and Ceruledge, who were all struggling to get up.

“Floragato…” Liko watched in fear as her Floragato attempted to stand.
“This ends now,” Gibeon said, looking over at Pagogo, who was still gathering energy from the Six Heroes.

“Terapagos, all of you! Your time is up! Zygarde, use Core Enforcer!” Gibeon commanded, thrusting a hand out towards the entire group.

Gemma watched in the middle of the battlefield as Zygarde charged up its Core Enforcer, feeling unable to move or do anything. She looked over at Floragato, who was still attempting to stand.

Liko and the others all watched in horror as Zygarde charged its attack. Liko clenched her fist, not ready for this to end this way.

“Use Magical Leaf! Tons of it!” Liko instructed, shouting with her entire chest. Gemma looked back at Liko, and then at Floragato.

Floragato stood up, and meowed loudly as it grabbed its bud and blasted a ton of Magical Leaf. Just as the White Zygarde fired Core Enforcer. Gemma braced herself, hugging her unconscious Sylveon tightly, but was thankfully protected by the Magical Leaf from Floragato.

“Gemma! Get back quickly!” Liko shouted, signaling for her friend to get out of the battle. Gemma nodded and quickly ran back towards her friends, returning her Sylveon to its Pokeball.

Floragato collapsed onto one knee, and Roy and Dot gasped in fear. Gibeon cackled maniacally as the Laquium crystal behind him grew even more.

“It’s only getting worse,” Amethio exclaimed, worried.

“Heh… This battle is over, is it not?” Spinel chuckled.

Lucius watched, before saying a single word.

“No.”

Liko took a deep breath, before letting it out with a gasp.

“No way am I giving up!” She whipped her arm beside her.

“Floragato, go get ‘em!” She shouted, attempting to encourage her Pokémon. The other four trainers looked at her, and then Floragato looked back at its trainer, and meowed out a gasp. It attempted to strengthen its attack, meowing aggressively.

“Floragato… It’s trying so hard to protect Crocalor, Quaxwell, and Ceruledge,” Liko observed. She looked over at Pagogo and the Six Heroes.

“And it’s protecting all of us,” she watched as Pagogo continued to gather power.

She looked at Friede, who nodded at her. Liko nodded back, and then proceeded to run straight towards Floragato. Her allies all exclaimed in fear and worry, and Gemma tried to grab Liko’s arm to stop her, but missed.

(Roy) “Liko!”
(Amethio) “What are you doing?!”
(Dot) “Don’t do it!”
(Gemma) “Liko, come back!”

“Floragato!” Liko exclaimed as she ran, stopping right beside Floragato, who meowed in confusion and slight worry for its trainer.

“If we fight, we fight together,” Liko proclaims, expressing her desire to fight alongside Floragato.

“I’m gonna stay right here by your side,” Liko continued.

“Pagogo and Lucius, the Six Heroes, our friends. We’re all in this as one. We’re gonna protect everyone,” Floragato meowed at its trainer, admiring her.

Roy and Dot watched, and then started to run towards their own Pokémon. Gemma and Amethio looked in slight confusion. Roy stopped next to Crocalor, and Dot stopped next to Quaxwell.

“Keep it up, Liko and Floragato!” Roy exclaimed. Crocalor also gave its support.

“We believe in you!” Dot exclaimed. Quaxwell gave its support as well.

Lucius and Friede watched with hope and determination, while Gibeon watched stone-faced.

Gemma watched, and pulled a Dream Ball out of her pocket, considering bringing out a new Pokémon to help. She was distracted when Floragato suddenly began meowing furiously and then erupted in a flash of bright light.

“Floragato…” Liko watched in awe. She knew what that glow meant.

Floragato’s body began rapidly changing. Its ears and legs grew longer, and it became taller and fluffier. Two cape-like protrusions then sprouted from its back, and it opened its eyes, emerging from the light and blasting away the Core Enforcer with an explosion of Magical Leaf. It stood there, relishing in its new power. Floragato has evolved into Meowscarada.

Liko’s allies all excitedly exclaimed that it evolved, while the Explorers angrily exclaimed that it evolved.

“You did it! Yeah! Meowscarada!” Liko excitedly giggled and smiled happily that her partner had evolved. Meowscarada and Liko both looked at each other.

Meanwhile, Ceruledge managed to sit up, and Amethio knelt beside it. Ceruledge looked at Amethio, determined to help. Amethio smiled at it. Ceruledge and Amethio stood beside each other.

“Ceruledge has just enough strength for one more attack. And that alone will not defeat Zygarde,” Amethio said, standing next to Liko.

“The only thing we can do is cut a path for you,” he continued.

Liko looked at him.

“Are you sure?” she asked, unsure if Amethio knew what he was doing.

“It’s up to you two now,” he answered.

Liko nodded in response, and looked back at Zygarde, who roared at the two of them. Everyone watched in anticipation, save for Gemma, who was only looking between Liko and the Dream Ball in her hand.

“Let’s end this. Zygarde, Land’s Wrath!” Gibeon commanded, ordering Zygarde to attack one last time. The ground cracked and crumbled its way towards Ceruledge and Meowscarada.

“Dodge it!” Both Amethio and Liko instructed, telling their Pokémon to avoid the incoming attack, which they did, and began running towards Zygarde.

“You dare approach me?! Use Core Enforcer!” Gibeon angrily ordered.

Zygarde charged up its attack before unleashing it once again.

“Protect Meowscarada. Bitter Blade. Hit them!” Amethio instructed, and Ceruledge’s blades glowed pink as it blocked the Core Enforcer.

“More, Ceruledge! Bigger!” Amethio instructed, and Ceruledge broke through before falling to the ground in exhaustion, just as Meowscarada leapt in front of it.

“It’s locked in on Zygarde!” Dot exclaimed.

“Meowscarada, do a series of Acrobatics!” Liko instructed.

Meowscarada did a flip backwards, before its body began to glow in a white aura as it kicked down towards Zygarde, hitting it over and over.

“Now you’re insulting me. Zygarde, use Core Enfor-” Gibeon was cut off.

“Sucker Punch!” Liko instructed, calling for Meowscarada to interrupt Zaygarde's attack, which it attempted to do.

“Zygarde, dodge it!” Gibeon ordered, switching his tactic. Zygarde leapt into the air and Meowscarada missed.

“Use Core Enforcer!” he ordered.

Zygarde began charging Core Enforcer from the air. The others watched in fear.

“Oh, no,” Dot exclaimed.

“If that hits, then…” Roy said, worried about what might happen.

“Meowscarada!” Liko shouted.

Meowscarada was suddenly surrounded by invisible spot lights as it stepped forward and whipped its arms outwards before it snapped its fingers. A strange large flower pod floated down in front of Zygarde, and exploded in a cloud of green smoke, sending Zygarde crashing to the ground with a loud thud.

Liko and everyone else stared in awe.

“Impressive. That’s Flower Trick!” Friede exclaimed, grinning.

Roy and Dot also exclaimed their excitement at Meowscarada learning a new move.

“Zygarde can’t be… No, it’s impossible,” Gibeon was completely caught off-guard.

Meowscarada collapsed to its knees, and Liko ran up to it, kneeling next to it.

“Meowscarada, you were totally incredible,” Liko and Meowscarada smiled at each other, and Amethio and Ceruledge watched.

Gemma walked up to Liko and Meowscarada.

“You two are so amazing!” Gemma congratulated them, and smiled. Liko smiled back a little sheepishly.

There was then the sound of the ground rumbling, and Liko, Amethio, and Gemma all watched in fear as the White Zygarde sat up.

Gemma put an arm in front of Liko and Meowscarada out of instinct, wanting to protect them.

The White Zygarde stared at them, and then nodded slowly. Gemma still had her guard up, producing the Dream Ball from her pocket again.

“Zygarde?” Liko questioned, wondering what it was doing.

“Zygarde, you must resume the attack,” Gibeon ordered.

“This is not over yet,” Gibeon waited, but Zygarde didn’t move.

Zygarde then turned its head to look at Gibeon, whose eyes widened in shock. Zygarde growled at Gibeon as if it was disappointed in him. It then slithered over to Liko, Amethio, and Gemma, and lowered its head slightly.

Gemma was still on the defensive, but Liko stood up and pushed her friend’s arm down. Zygarde raised its head, and it began disassembling itself, its cells disappearing into the ground.

“Wait, no! Zygarde, don’t leave me,” Gibeon desperately clawed at the cells, trying to get his partner to come back.

“I need you by my side,” he continued, watching the cells fade into the ground. Nearby, Spinel watched with disappointment. The other Explorers looked with shock and anger.

“Why? How could it…?” Gibeon stared at the sky, his arms falling to his sides, his voice dripping with the feeling of betrayal.

Lucius walked up to him.

“You know the answer, Gibeon,” Lucius said, stopping between Liko and Amethio.

“Zygarde conceded to Liko and her friends,” he paused.

“You have lost,” he said, a frown on his face.

Gibeon's body shook as he stared at the ground.

“Why must I suffer such cruel indignity before these… children?” Gibeon looked up and looked between Liko and Lucius, completely disregarding Gemma who was now standing next to Liko.

He whipped his head up and let out a scream of anger. He clutched his head.

“Why is it always Lucius? Must I forever be thwarted by those bearing his blood?” He furiously scratched his head, messing up white hair.

“This is beyond absurdity!” Liko looked at Gibeon with slight worry and confusion as he rambled.

“What do you possess that I do not?” Gibeon panted heavily as he finished his rant. His arms returned to his sides as he continued to pant. Lucius looked directly into his friend's eyes.

“A true bond,” he answered. Gibeon gasped in confusion.

“When a Pokémon truly trusts its Trainer, there is no limit to the strength they can attain. And it is with that strength that they were able to best you in battle,” he continued.

“What nonsense,” Gibeon said, clutching his head.

“Show me scientific proof of this so-called bond. Tell me how you measure it. Held up against true, undeniable power, trust is but a word, ” he growled angrily.

“Pokémon are unusual, teeming with mystery. Every day, they make miracles that we humans cannot fathom,” Lucius replied.

“The moment that their inner purposes aligned, Floragato evolved into Meowscarada,” he continued.

“Grandfather, I felt the same thing as well,” Amethio said. Gibeon turned to look at his grandson.

“I felt the exact moment when Ceruledge and I were acting as one,” he continued, looking at his Ceruledge, who nodded in agreement.

“It's possible that Zygarde stood by your side for so long because it wanted you to experience this for yourself,” Lucius said, smiling at his friend.

“The bonds between Trainers and Pokémon are full of endless possibilities,” he continued.

Lucius walked up to Gibeon, and Amethio echoed the word “possibilities” to himself.

Gibeon held the pokeball that his Zygarde was contained in, staring at it longingly. Lucius walked up to him and looked at the pokeball as well. Gibeon lifted his head to meet Lucius’ eyes.

Pagogo then suddenly shouted, and engulfed the Six Heroes in crystalline orbs of light as they all flew up to above the large Laquium crystal, surrounding it.

Pagogo was then surrounded by a bright light as it transformed into its Stellar Form.

“Wait. Is that…?” Friede questioned.

“It sure is. Pagogo's third form,” Liko responded, smiling.

Pagogo floated up higher, and six beams of light erupted from it as it gathered power from the Six Heroes.

“Did it Terastilize?” Gemma questioned, watching as Pagogo and the Six Heroes floated above the clouds.
