   Summary

   The last thing that he can remember is a confusing conversation with his sister. Waking up in a morgue, Alex Mercer is thrust into a world that is trying to kill him, from biological horrors that can tear apart the average person in seconds to corrupt military and corporate forces trying to fill him and the people he cares for with lead or obfuscate the truth for their own nefarious goals. As the infection spreads throughout Manhattan, Alex will uncover the answers he seeks regardless of whether or not he truly wants to.

    

   TLDR This is a soft re-write/retelling of the first [Prototype] Game. I felt it didn't properly develop the characters and the world enough to where the potential that was there was fully realized. Some parts have been changed, and I don't expect people to like that, but I'll do my best to write a decent story with the source material I have.
