   Summary

   Jon and Daenerys, visit the Summer Islands on a diplomatic mission. While Jon remains faithful to his wife and uncomfortable with the islands' liberal sexual customs, Daenerys becomes sexually involved with multiple island men, including the royal masseur Xhondo, three beachgoers (Xholo, Jahkar, and Mozhan), and most extensively with King Jalabhar Xho himself. She repeatedly deceives Jon about her activities, claiming to be receiving cultural treatments and massages while actually engaging in elaborate sexual encounters. The islanders help cover for her infidelity, and she uses her fluency in the Summer Tongue to have explicit conversations with the King in front of her oblivious husband. Despite guilt, she continues the affairs throughout their stay, receives a vial of the King's semen as a parting gift disguised as beauty oil, and leaves with Jon none the wiser about her extensive betrayals during their diplomatic visit.
