Chapter 1: Episode 1: Here We Go Again

Chapter Text

We begin this new season with a hostess named Kristal McLane walking towards the bus stop and entrance of Camp Tipiskaw as she began speaking.

“It’s been a while now hasn’t it? But we’re back and better than ever with the best host this show could ask for.” Kristal introduced smugly, “To those just tuning in, let’s explain how this works. I have hand selected fourteen new contestants to live in Camp Tipiskaw for the next four weeks while their lives are filmed, judged, and scrutinized by a wide television audience. Divided into two teams of seven, they’ll compete in challenges to spare themselves from having to vote one of their own. Sounds simple? Just you wait. Who will be the last one standing and claim the one million dollar prize. I’m your new host Kristal McLane, and this is Disventure Camp!”

(After theme song)

We begin this season properly by watching as a red bus drives towards Camp Tipiskaw as we cut to inside the bus to see two contestants sitting on each row of the bus as the bus driver Marcus and his puppet Nina were driving. On the front row, we saw Aiden and Oliver followed by Rosa Maria and Kai, Karol and Yul, Lake and James, Riya and Ally, Hunter and Tess, and Connor and Maggy.

We zoom in on Oliver and Aiden as the former could be seen looking excitedly out of the window while Aiden looked at him in confusion which Oliver noticed.

“Uh… can I help you?” Oliver asked curiously.

“Sorry, you just look familiar. Have we met before?” Aiden explained.

“Maybe on television.” Oliver answered humorously, “I tested the challenges as an intern back in season one.”

“Ah, that makes sense.” Aiden smiled, “I did watch the season before coming here.”

After that interaction, we then see Kai looking over at Rosa’s necklace before speaking up.

“Your necklace is resplendent. A libra?” Kai complimented.

“With a Leo rising.” Rosa answered kindly, “And you?”

“My sun radiates with the groundedness and stability of a Taurus.” Kai answered back.

“Oh, I like you. I’m Rosa Maria.” Rosa giggled.

“I’m Kai, and I thank you for the positive energy you emanate." Kai smiled back.

“Is it energy or musk and sweat?” Karol asked sarcastically as she waved the bad scent of the bus away from her, “There’s got to be room in the budget for a bus with working AC. What kind of show is this?”

“You would probably get a lot of complaints to the Karen helpline with how obnoxious you’re being. I don’t like this cheap ass bus either, but you don’t see anyone else making a scene out of it!” Yul scoffed indignantly but this just earned him a glare from Karol but from behind them, James was recording the confrontation with a childish snicker.

“Sir, you didn’t need to go that far. Her complaints aren’t unreasonable.” Lake sheepishly told Yul.

“SIR?!” Yul asked incredulously, “It’s only Day 1 and you’re showing more thirst for me than the average fangirl! You seem like you’re young so just try to mitigate this obsession while we’re competing, god.”

“What?!” Lake’s eyes widened in horror at what Yul was suggesting, “I-It’s not like that. I’m not even into… never mind. I’m sorry.”

“Glad you see things properly.” Yul smirked haughtily to which James seemed concerned for Lake but he didn't bother talking to her, however you could see him editing Lake and Yul’s argument out of his recording.

Before anything else could happen, Marcus abruptly stopped the bus which led to Yul faceplanting on the back of one of the benches, eliciting a screech out of him.

“Alright everyone. Time for your first challenge. Nina here will explain.” Marcus said happily.

“It’s easy. You’ll race down to camp where the last two to arrive will be eliminated forever.” Nina spoke with demonic undertones at the end.

We then cut to the fourteen contestants running out of the bus and racing to the camp. Near the back of the group, Hunter decided to approach Tess who was all by herself.

“I wonder why people are avoiding us.” Hunter asked playfully.

“Whatever, it’s nothing new for me.” Tess replied blandly.

“Uh… same. But socializing is overrated, gotta spend more time on important things like-“ Hunter began rambling before Tess interrupted.

“It’s overrated.” Tess shrugged.

“Uh… same.” Hunter chuckled nervously. The conversation pretty much died down after that but Hunter was at least happy to see that Tess didn’t further the distance between them.

Confessional: Hunter

“Well… it was an alright start at least. I’m not the best at socializing but at least she entertained my ramblings instead of just running off.” Hunter said with a nervous smile.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Lake running by herself when Kai ran up to run beside her.

“Pardon my disturbance, but I wanted to let you know that your actions on the bus painted a mural of good intentions.” Kai complimented.

“Oh… thank you.” Lake smiled back.

“Although I couldn’t help but notice your vibes were turbulent. It hindered my meditations.” Kai admitted in concern.

“Um… I’m sorry…” Lake raised an eyebrow.

“It’s not your fault. I saw how Yul treated you back on the bus. I just wanted to warn you not to let earthly concerns hinder your journey of enlightenment.” Kai advised vaguely to which Lake seemed confused to hear but did grow a thoughtful look regardless.

“I’ll… keep that in mind for the future.” Lake said.

Confessional: Lake

“I’d usually rather avoid conversations that vulnerable, but at least Kai was nice about the whole thing.” Lake admitted sheepishly.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Oliver running across the forest in determination when Maggy ran up towards him.

“Hi, my name’s Maggy. What’s your-“ Maggy began asking before Oliver interrupted.

“With that size, you’ll definitely be a threat.” Oliver spoke bluntly before running further which made Maggy look down in shame.

We then cut to Yul, James, Riya, and Aiden running together as a group as Yul was bragging about himself.

“And fast forward a million followers later came the first of many major brand deals.” Yul spoke smugly.

“Yet I never heard of you.” James fired back with equal smugness.

“Sorry, do you live in South Korea?” Yul asked sarcastically.

“Clearly not.” James acknowledged.

“Exactly. Here amongst you normies, I can be a hot famous person.” Yul bragged.

“I’ll join you in the million followers club once I milk my time on this show for every like.” James smirked back before facing the camera, “And to the viewers watching back home, follow my TikTok at James Costa.”

“Whoa, a million followers! I can’t imagine!” Riya spoke in awe.

Confessional: Riya

“Coming here from Bollywood, it’s my dream to make my debut in Hollywood.” Riya said happily before sighing, “Sadly after three years, the only roles I booked were extras. James is right, I don’t want to be in the background forever.”

Confessional Ends

The group’s conversation was then interrupted by Connor running towards them.

“Anyone here got a MySpace? Other than myself of course.” Connor asked, trying to sound suave.

“What’s a MySpace?” Aiden asked with a raised eyebrow, “I typically use either Reddit, Instagram, or TikTok.”

“Attention everyone. Please come claim your grandpa. He’s escaped the retirement home and the dementia’s taken hold.” Yul spoke dramatically before cackling with James snickering as well before them and Aiden continued running further while Riya stayed back to turn towards Connor.

“Sorry about them, I don’t know what MySpace is either, but those two didn’t need to act that way.” Riya reassured the older man who smiled at her.

“Thanks, that means a lot.” Connor spoke gratefully.

We then cut to the finish line near the camp entrance as Kristal could be seen sitting on a bench on the phone.

“No dad, I don’t need your advice since I’m not ending up like you. There’s a reason I was chosen to host and-“ Kristal was in the midst of arguing before noticing her cue, “Oh… I have to go.”

Kristal then stood in between the team mats as she spoke up.

“With the campers starting to arrive, we’ll start placing them on teams based on order of arrival.” Kristal said happily before Oliver ran towards the orange mat.

“Oliver is first and a member of the Orange Team.” Kristal announced as Oliver gave a confident look to the camera before Ally ran towards the green mat.

“Ally is the first member of the Green Team.”

Maggy ran to the orange mat next and gave a nervous look towards Oliver who seemed to feel guilty at seeing that.

“Maggy, Orange Team.”

Tess was next to make it to the green mat and while Ally held up a hand for her to high-five, Tess ignored it much to her concern.

“Tess, Green Team.”

Lake was next to arrive at the orange mat and gave a friendly wave to Maggy and Oliver who returned the gesture.

“Lake, Orange Team.”

Hunter arrived at the green mat next and seemed happy albeit nervous to be on the same team as Tess.

“Hunter, Green Team.”

Rosa and Kai were next to run to the finish line and went towards the orange and green mat respectively.

“Rosa on the Orange Team and Kai on the Green Team.”

James was next to reach the orange mat but instead of greeting his teammates, he opted to take his phone out and make a selfie, confusing his teammates.

“James, Orange Team.”

Yul boredly walked over to the green mat.

“Yul, Green Team.”

Aiden then ran over towards the Orange mat with a relieved smile in which James smiled back at him.

“Aiden, Orange Team.”

Riya then ran over to the green mat with a friendly smile.

“Riya, Green Team. And our last two…” Kristal announced as Karol and Connor ran to the finish line, clearly worn out, “Karol on Orange Team and Connor on Green Team.”

“They’re on teams? I thought the last ones to arrive get eliminated?” Hunter asked in confusion.

“Maybe Mother Nature will do it for us.” Yul smirked mockingly which earned him glares from both Karol and Connor.

“Who said anything about an elimination?” Kristal asked in confusion.

“The driver with his puppet.” Ally clarified, “I figured it was mainly a joke with how it was worded though.”

“Ah, you mean Nina. Well you’d be correct on that front. No one’s actually getting eliminated.” Kristal clarified with a lighthearted smile.

“Wait… aren’t you Kristal? As in Christoff’s daughter-“ Aiden began asking curiously before Kristal immediately turned to glare at him.

“I’m Kristal McLane, the one and only host of the show. My familial connections are none of your business and if you continue to bother me about that, your team will get a penalty in the challenge! Got it?” Kristal asked harshly to which Aiden nodded fearfully.

“Good.” Kristal resumed her cheery tone, “Orange Team, take the path to the left. Green Team, you take the path to the right. You’ll have the afternoon to take a break in the cabins before your first immunity challenge.”

“They’re not co-ed, are they?!” Karol asked incredulously.

“Unfortunately for you, yes they are.” Kristal answered, “It helps our budget and I trust you all can act like adults in a shared space. Do you want a million dollars or not?”

“Sounds like you need it more.” Karol rolled her eyes.

“Just for that, Orange Team has a disadvantage in the challenge.” Kristal glared at the woman, causing the entire Orange Team to look shocked and James, Oliver, and Rosa to glare at Karol.

“What?! I didn’t even bring up your family! Why are we getting a disadvantage over THAT?!” Karol asked incredulously.

“Because unlike Aiden, you don’t know when to stop mouthing off.” Kristal explained angrily, “Your first challenge begins in a few hours.”

We then cut to the Green Team’s cabin in which Hunter, Yul, Kai, and Riya decided to hang out by the cabin steps.

“So… what are you all going to do with the million dollars?” Hunter asked with a nervous smile.

“A decent question, but work on your delivery. You sound like you’re constipated.” Yul rolled his eyes before answering, “But who knows? It’s not like I need money with all my sponsorships.”

“What is it exactly that you do?” Riya asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Possess star quality, obviously.” Yul smirked arrogantly.

“Okay… but what is it that you do?” Riya asked, a little more annoyed this time.

“Ugh, fine. I dance, okay. My parents forced me into a competition at fifteen years old and my performance went viral. THERE!” Yul answered impatiently.

“So if you don’t need the money, why are you here?” Hunter asked curiously.

“I’m forced to be here by my agent who thinks that hanging around you normal people will somehow save my image.” Yul shrugged.

“Save it from what?” Hunter raised an eyebrow.

“From the bullshit leaked footage of me accidentally pushing an elderly woman off an escalator. Greedy brats just filmed it for easy views.” Yul rolled his eyes.

“Are you serious?! You could’ve hurt that woman, is she okay?!” Riya asked incredulously.

“Did you not hear the part where I said it was an ACCIDENT?” Yul scoffed, “She was hogging up my space on the escalator and I was getting impatient so I shoved her back a little. I just didn’t account for her tripping but if you must know, she’s fine. She was discharged from the hospital after a mere few days but people are still making a big stink over it!”

“You know, there’s this old Chinese proverb that-“ Kai began speaking before Yul shushed him.

“Sorry, but I just don’t care.” Yul said in annoyance, making Kai look down sadly.

Confessional: Kai

“Yul’s aura is that of a storm cloud. Dark and foreboding…” Kai admitted uneasily.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Connor entering the cabin where Tess was lounging on the top bunk while Ally was playing on a Switch on the bottom bunk.

“So… how’s it hanging kiddos? Just… chilling?” Connor asked with a nervous smile.

“Pretty much.” Tess shrugged.

“Honing my skills, gotta get in the zone.” Ally explained happily as she continued playing.

“Does that work?” Connor asked curiously.

“Here, why don’t you try.” Ally smiled as she handed Connor the Switch in which he pressed a button leaving him and Ally concerned.

“Oh no, you deleted my save file!” Ally said in shock.

“Oh crap! I’m so sorry, I can fix it.” Connor said worriedly before trying to fiddle with the buttons but all that led to was him dropping the Switch on the floor, cracking the glass.

“Oh shit… I’m really sorry about that. How bad is it…” Connor asked in concern before Ally showed him the cracked screen on her Switch.

“Yeah… you definitely owe her a new one now.” Tess crossed her arms in disapproval.

“Thankfully I have enough money to pay for one.” Connor sighed, “I’ll leave you two be. I’m sorry…”

Connor then walked off leaving Ally looking saddened by the damaged Switch much to Tess’ concern.

“You alright? I can imagine that was expensive.” Tess asked with the slightest amount of concern.

“It’s sad, but I have backups. Always useful for a gamer.” Ally smiled reassuringly as she took one of her backup Switches out of her bag.

“Smart.” Tess admitted in respect but her frown did not falter.

We then cut to Orange Team’s cabin as Aiden and James sat outside on the benches.

“Who do you think the most popular contestant is?” James asked Aiden.

“Why do you care?” Aiden raised an eyebrow.

“So I know how many followers I need to bypass them. I briefly checked out the show after being accepted but I didn’t get a good look at the fandom.” James smirked.

“Right… well good luck beating Jake.” Aiden answered honestly.

“How is he the most popular? He practically sunk his game in the merge.” James raised an eyebrow.

“It’s probably due to his relationship with Tom. They were a popular ship after all.” Aiden shrugged.

“Interesting.” James smirked as he eyed Aiden a bit before their conversation was interrupted by Karol yelling from inside the cabin.

“They call this housing! I’m pretty sure that there's mold on the wall and these sheets look filthy!” Karol spoke furiously as Rosa, Oliver, Lake, and Maggy seemed disturbed by her attitude.

“C-Calm down Karol… I’m sure we can wash them later.” Oliver said nervously.

“Oliver’s right. Besides, you already screwed us over with that disadvantage Kristal gave us.” Rosa crossed her arms in annoyance.

“Oh whatever. She’s the one that overreacted!” Karol scoffed before walking off angrily.

After Karol left, Rosa noticed Lake cowering from behind her, clearly frightened by what she just witnessed.

“Wanna get out of here and get some food?” Rosa asked the blonde.

“Please.” Lake said with a chuckle before both of them walked to the cafeteria as Maggy looked downtrodden while Oliver seemed sympathetic.

“Hey… is everything okay?” Oliver asked in concern.

“I-I’m fine… but… didn’t you consider me a threat?” Maggy asked sheepishly.

“I do, but I was just in competitive mode earlier due to the race.” Oliver explained, “Right now, I’m more concerned about if you’re alright.”

“Well… I’m doing fine, don’t worry about me.” Maggy sighed before walking off, making Oliver looked even more concerned.

Confessional: Maggy

“I also would’ve liked to get food… and be included.” Maggy sighed.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Lake and Rosa accepting pancakes from Marcus and Nina before opting to sit at an empty table.

“So where’s your accent from?” Rosa asked curiously.

“Germany. I’ve lived there my entire life.” Lake answered happily.

“Do you ever want to leave there to travel?” Rosa further questioned.

“Possibly, but it’s quite early to think of that. Not like I could because of my family…” Lake answered solemnly.

“Yeah… leaving family is never easy but it’s sometimes for the best.” Rosa nodded sadly before asking, “Why can’t you leave yours’?”

“With their fame, I’d never escape them. My mother’s a famous violinist and my father’s a respected nuclear chemist.” Lake smiled awkwardly.

“Wow, that’s pretty incredible but what about you?” Rosa asked happily.

“What about me?” Lake asked with a raised eyebrow.

“You came onto this show for a reason.” Rosa shrugged, “I wanna know about you, not just your family.”

“Oh… I simply wanted a fun break before boarding school. I don’t have many hobbies outside of writing… but my parents want me to prioritize my grades.” Lake explained sheepishly.

“Boarding school?! Why would you need to go there?! You don’t seem like someone who needs it.” Rosa asked in shock.

“My family thinks that the atmosphere will encourage me to focus on my grades.” Lake answered solemnly before smiling nervously, “It’s harmless at the end of the day. It allows me to not stray on the path of being a good girl.”

“I see… well, if you ever want someone to talk to, I’m here for you.” Rosa said reassuringly which made Lake give her a genuine smile.

We then cut to the contestants at the beach as Kristal stood in front of them.

“Good afternoon campers. Ready for your first challenge?” Kristal asked happily.

“Hardly. Relaxing was impossible in those hovels you call cabins.” Karol scoffed.

“What’s that? Do you want another disadvantage?” Kristal warned tauntingly.

“For the love of god Karol, shut up.” James narrowed his eyes at Karol who grunted but stayed quiet nonetheless.

“Now for this challenge-“ Kristal began before Yul interrupted her.

“Disadvantage?! They already have an ogre on their team, what do you MEAN disadvantage?!” Yul asked incredulously.

“To find joy in other’s misery is a sign of weakness-“ Kai began lecturing before Kristal interrupted.

“Everyone shut up!” Kristal commanded before continuing, “The goal of this challenge is a relay race in which you will need to get your flag through the finish line traveling by boat, jeep, bike, and running. First team to arrive with their flag by foot will win immunity. Green Team will get a one minute headstart thanks to Orange Team’s disadvantage. Decide who will run each leg and get started.”

We then cut to Yul, Hunter, and Tess along with Rosa, Lake, and Maggy on each team’s speedboat before Kristal spoke up.

“Alright everybody, your first challenge starts now.” Kristal announced before Hunter began driving his team’s boat across the water.

“Hey Tess, can you hold the flag while I drive?” Hunter asked kindheartedly to which Tess shrugged.

“Sure.” Tess accepted before taking the flag from him while Yul began smirking.

“Alright you two, since you both have the least annoying personalities out of the team, I’m offering you guys an alliance. I’ve noticed you’re somewhat close and with three people we basically have control of half the team.” Yul offered.

“Sound idea, I’m game.” Hunter said happily.

“Sure.” Tess shrugged with Yul’s smirk only widening in response.

Confessional: Hunter

“Day one and I’m already in an alliance. This has been easier than I thought.” Hunter smiled excitedly.

Confessional: Tess

“Yul sucks, but he won’t try to get close to me and operates as a decent shield. Easiest way to stay in the game.” Tess confessed apathetically.

Confessionals End

We then cut to Lake driving Orange Team’s boat across the water before Rosa turned towards her.

“Do you see them?” Rosa asked in concern.

“No, they’re too far ahead.” Lake said sadly.

“Thanks Karol.” Rosa muttered.

“Am I slowing us down?” Maggy asked anxiously before Rosa turned to her.

“No, stop that. Don’t let that asshole get to you.” Rosa said sternly.

“But what if he’s right? There must be a reason why I don’t have friends.” Maggy said miserably.

“Not anymore. I’m willing to be your friend and so would Lake, I imagine.” Rosa said happily as she turned to Lake who happily nodded in agreement.

“Really?” Maggy asked excitedly.

“Yep. And if he says anything else, let me know and I’ll shut him up.” Rosa said determinedly.

“Wow, you’re really brave. I wish I was more like you.” Maggy said happily.

“Stick with me and you will be.” Rosa promised.

“Rosa’s got a good instinct for girls to take under her wing.” Lake reassured Maggy.

“Call it a mother’s instinct.” Rosa said confidently much to Maggy and Lake’s surprise.

Confessional: Lake

“Mother?” Lake asked in shock.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Green Team’s boat stopping at the beach in which Tess ran towards Kai and Connor who were on their team’s jeep. Tess gave Kai the flag as Connor started driving across the field. Orange Team’s boat soon followed as Rosa gave Aiden their team’s flag.

“Hang on tight, we’ve got to make up time.” James smirked confidently as he began driving.

“No no no no no!” Aiden cried out in a panic before they continued going across the field.

“Can you reach into my pocket?” James asked happily.

“What?!” Aiden asked incredulously.

“Yeah, record a TikTok of us with my phone.” James answered.

“In the middle of the challenge?!” Aiden argued.

“I’ll vote with you if we lose.” James offers to which Aiden hums before taking the phone out of the influencer’s pocket.

We then cut to Kai and Connor making it to where Ally and Karol were waiting as Connor handed Ally the flag.

“Here you go, Ally.” Connor said.

“Thank you, I’m going there.” Ally said happily as she began riding the bike across the field. Shortly afterwards, Aiden and James arrived with Karol looking annoyed at seeing Aiden recording James’ TikTok.

“Are you seriously filming right now?!” Karol asked incredulously.

“Trust me, I wasn’t thrilled about it either. Just hurry.” Aiden said frantically as he handed Karol the flag.

“For once, I actually agree with that sentiment.” Karol admitted before riding off with their team’s flag and shockingly, she was able to get ahead of Ally much to the gamer’s shock.

“Time to go beast mode.” Ally said determinedly before pedaling faster and just barely further ahead of Karol before reaching Riya and Oliver.

“Go…” Ally breathlessly told Riya as the actress took the flag and began running while Karol just made it to where Oliver was waiting.

“Don’t mess this up.” Karol told Oliver as she gave him the flag.

“I won’t!” Oliver said in determination as he began running to the finish line and keeping pace with Riya before suddenly stopping near a tree.

“No! You’re not humiliating me today Mr McLane!” Oliver spoke in determination before putting in his full energy to running across the finish line.

“Fuck… off… Mr McLane!” Oliver smirked, “I did it! Harvey from PE, SUCK IT! And everyone who said I couldn’t…”

“Uh… Oliver…” Kristal informed him as she pointed to Riya who was somewhat further ahead of him as she waved with a friendly smile.

“I… lost?” Oliver asked in shock.

“Yep. The Green Team wins the first challenge and immunity.” Kristal announced as Green Team cheered while the Orange Team looked disappointed.

“If only someone didn’t screw us over.” James sarcastically remarked, angering Karol.

“If only someone wasn’t too focused on social media to drive faster!” Karol fired back.

“I went as fast as I could!” James argued.

“Right, and clearly you weren’t good enough!” Karol crossed her arms and turned away, making James scoff.

“Ooh, spicy. Orange Team, I’ll see you tonight at elimination. Can’t wait to see which loser has to deal with the elimination of being first out.” Kristal chuckled before walking off and muttering, “Damn… I need to redo my script. That sounded way too much like my dad.”

We then cut back to the Orange Team cabins where Aiden was seen sitting on the bench in contemplation before Karol stormed over to him.

“We need to talk.” Karol spoke sternly.

“We do?” Aiden asked in shock, “Are you still mad about the TikTok? I swear, I wouldn’t have done it if James wasn’t so insistent on it.”

“Oh trust me, I could tell by your expressions that it wasn’t a fun experience for you.” Karol scoffed, “Since you seem to be the only sane person on this team, I need your help in convincing everyone else to keep me in.”

“Yeah… I was thinking of targeting Oliver anyway. He used to be a production member after all. That could be a problem down the line.” Aiden admitted sheepishly.

“I’d rather eliminate the influencer, but I suppose Oliver’s a safer bet.” Karol sighed in annoyance.

“I’ll take care of convincing everyone else. No offense, but…” Aiden spoke nervously before Karol interrupted.

“Oh relax, I’m not oblivious. I’m asking for your help for a reason after all. Just do what you need to do.” Karol rolled her eyes to which Aiden gave a nervous smile and thumbs up before walking off.

Confessional: Karol

“People are not easy to deal with but if I want to survive the humiliation of being eliminated FIRST, I’ll need to rely on my teammates’ votes. Aiden seems the most approachable and sensible so let’s hope relying on him won’t screw me over.” Karol crossed her arms.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to James taking pictures near the beach before Aiden walked over to him.

“Alright James, we need to talk about the vote.” Aiden told the influencer.

“What’s there to talk about? Karol is the obvious pick to boot. I know it’s an easy vote and it doesn’t exactly help our prior agreement but I plan to work with you anyway so it’s not like it matters.” James asked.

“Not so fast, you said you’d vote my way and I want Oliver gone.” Aiden crossed his arms sternly.

“Why him? Sure he lost the challenge, but Karol gave us that disadvantage.” James raised an eyebrow.

“Oliver used to work with production and knows the ins and outs of the show. We’re better off eliminating him before he becomes a threat and besides… I can’t really be mad at Karol for giving us a disadvantage when all she did was make a snarky remark. It’s only our first day and I’m sure she’s sensible not to do it again.” Aiden argued to which James looked contemplative.

We then cut to Lake writing in a notebook in the dining hall before Aiden noticed her and gave her a friendly wave.

“Hey Lake, can we talk about the vote?” Aiden asked with a kindhearted smile.

“Oh, hi Aiden.” Lake smiled at the e-boy, “I guess discussing the vote is important. I didn’t really have an idea on who to target anyway considering it’s only our first day and… well there were a lot of screw ups today.”

“I agree, and if you want my input, I think Oliver should be our target. He lost us the challenge and knows production inside and out. Karol may have gotten us a disadvantage but I do think Kristal was pretty harsh with her over one remark.” Aiden offered to which Lake put a finger to her chin in contemplation.

“I guess it wouldn’t hurt to eliminate Oliver by that logic. I’ll see if I can talk to Rosa and Maggy about it.” Lake smiled kindly to which Aiden widened his eyes in surprise before regaining his composure.

“Oh… that’s great.” Aiden smiled back.

Confessional: Aiden

“So Lake’s already close with Rosa and Maggy, huh…” Aiden said in contemplation, “Well the target is already too heavy against Karol, Oliver, and maybe James to really be able to do anything effective against that group now and Lake at least seems to like me so I guess it’s not a huge deal now but I’ll have to be on the lookout for it later if they turn out to be closer than I think.”

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Lake walking in the cabin as Rosa and Maggy seemed to be talking before noticing her.

“Oh hey Lake. We were just about to discuss tonight’s vote. There are some pretty good options to choose from tonight.” Rosa said with a sheepish chuckle.

“I actually just got done talking with Aiden earlier about the vote. He’s thinking of targeting Oliver due to his past as a production worker and losing the challenge and I’m sure Karol’s smart enough not to annoy Kristal again.” Lake informed them.

“Oliver, huh? Karol is more obnoxious… but I do see where Aiden’s coming from and if we vote with him, it’s at least a guaranteed majority but is it worth keeping her around…” Rosa contemplated while Maggy looked nervous.

Confessional: Maggy

“Oliver considered me a threat but he also seemed genuinely concerned for me before I befriended Rosa and Lake… oh, I don’t know what to do.” Maggy said worriedly.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to James taking a selfie by the sunset before Oliver sheepishly walked up to him with a nervous smile.

“Hey… I hope you don’t mind a normie being in your presence.” Oliver spoke humorously to which James looked somewhat amused by.

“Relax small fry, I don’t bite.” James smirked playfully, “I assume you’re here to talk about the vote.”

“Uh yeah.” Oliver brightened up considerably before continuing, “I know I screwed up today but Karol also screwed us over with that disadvantage she gave us… and I hope you’re not offended by this, but you might also be a target since you were focused on making a TikTok and while I respect your work, I know some of the others might be annoyed by that… so I was hoping you could convince Aiden to vote with us to eliminate Karol since I like the guy and you two seem close.”

“Hmmm, I guess I can consider it.” James shrugged.

“Thank you so much! I promise I’ll perform better next time!” Oliver said gratefully before running off.

Confessional: Oliver

“I know Karol is already pretty likely to be eliminated due to how annoying she is but I did lose the challenge so I may as well play it safe. I considered talking to Maggy but things are already pretty awkward between us after I called her a threat… hopefully she’s not mad enough about that to vote me out.” Oliver said worriedly.

Confessional: James

“Oliver’s plea is tempting, but Aiden seems dead set on him being eliminated and I can’t deny he has a solid point in wanting him gone. I’ll need to mull this over…” James hummed in consideration.

Confessionals End

We then cut to Orange Team at the campfire ceremony with Kristal standing in front of them.

“Hello Orange Team. First losers of the season. One by one, cast your votes on who you want to send home and eliminate from the game. Get voting.” Kristal smirked smugly.

Voting: Aiden

“You seem really nice, but I unfortunately don’t have much reason to save you. Sorry man…” Aiden said sympathetically as he held a vote for Oliver.

Voting: James

James looked contemplative before writing down his vote.

Voting: Lake

Lake looked concerned as she wrote down her vote.

Voting: Rosa

Rosa put her vote in the urn nervously.

Voting: Maggy

Maggy gulped nervously before writing down her vote.

Voting: Karol

“Hopefully Aiden’s intuition pays off for me…” Karol grumbled as she held up a vote for Oliver.

Voting: Oliver

“Despite my nerves being at an all time high, it’s actually really fun to be on the other side of this.” Oliver smiled excitedly as he held up a vote for Karol.

Voting Ends

“Time to read the votes.” Kristal smirked as she held up the first ballot, “First vote… Oliver.”

Oliver widened his eyes worriedly.

“Karol.”

Karol grunted but expected this outcome.

“Oliver.”

Oliver gasped in horror at receiving another vote.

“Karol. That’s two votes Oliver and two votes Karol.”

Karol gasped indignantly to which Aiden also looked surprised and glanced suspiciously at James but he gave the e-boy a reassuring look.

“Oliver.”

Oliver bit his lip worriedly.

“The first person voted out of Disventure Camp is… Oliver. Four votes are enough, it’s time for you to go.” Kristal smirked.

“No!” Oliver gasped, “This was my chance! What do I do now?! I barely have any money… I live with my parents… a-and I thought I’d be something, make something of myself, and prove I’m more than just Christoff’s intern! It was all for nothing! The abuse! The injuries-“

“Whoa whoa, slow down!” Kristal interrupted, clearly concerned, “I need an intern to help test challenges anyway so… want your old job back? I guarantee it’ll be easier than last season.”

Oliver immediately rushed to embrace Kristal much to her shock.

“Thank you Ms Kristal! Thank you!” Oliver spoke gratefully before Kristal lightly pushed her new intern off of her.

“Alright, alright. You can stop. As for the rest of you, whoever’s eliminated next will not be as lucky. Get some rest.” Kristal smirked.

Confessional: Aiden

“Well… that was certainly a blow to my conscience to witness, but I’m glad Kristal’s at least letting Oliver stick around.” Aiden said sympathetically before putting a finger to his chin, “Still… I can’t help but wonder who that stray vote to Karol was. I have my doubts if James did it but it seems like he followed through with the plan so… hmmmm.”

Confessional: Maggy

“I know Lake and Rosa found it smarter to stick with Aiden’s plan, but I couldn’t vote for Oliver after seeing how nice he was to me. On the bright side, Kristal let him stay but I know I’ll have to come clean to my friends at some point…” Maggy said nervously.

Confessional: James

“I did what Aiden wanted for the sake of not ruffling the feathers of my closest connection here but rest assured, Karol will be dealt with.” James crossed his arms firmly.

Confessionals End

Voting Confessionals:

Aiden, Karol, and Oliver’s were already seen.

Voting: James

“Sorry small fry, but I can’t risk pissing Aiden off.” James shrugged as he held up a vote for Oliver.

Voting: Lake

“Aiden seems nice and made a good point on Oliver so I’ll follow his advice on this vote.” Lake admitted sheepishly as she held up a vote for Oliver.

Voting: Maggy

“This likely won’t amount to much, but Oliver at least deserves someone in his corner…” Maggy said nervously as she held up a vote for Karol.

Voting: Rosa

“You seem nice, but you did lose us the challenge and even if Karol’s annoying, she had a point about Kristal overreacting.” Rosa said sympathetically as she held up a vote for Oliver.

Voting Ends

Commenter Readings: Oliver

We then see Oliver sitting at the production tent and looking over the footage and the voting confessionals with a curious expression on his face.

“So that’s how I got out, huh?” Oliver asked before shrugging, “Well… I can see where Aiden was coming from at least.”

He then noticed the camera crew behind him and seemed surprised before realizing what they’re here for.

“Oh right, the commenter readings from the Season 1 finale.” Oliver chuckled good naturedly, “I guess I might as well read them.”

“wild_seargeant716, who predicted Dan’s victory from last season. Honestly, you’re smarter than me since I was really sure that Ellie was gonna win but it’s nice to see a fellow nerd get a W.”

“HajimeTDFan. Oh, I’ve heard of Total Drama. Really glad I didn’t work on that show…”

“Rose thinks Hunter should elope with Tom… uh, isn’t it a bit early to start shipping?”

“Blue_Yogurt who wanted Fiore to win… uh, out of respect as a production member, I’m not gonna comment on that.”

“DC Guest.”

“The UpstateDCFan.”

“Tides445.”

“And finally Godjacob95.”

“Thank you all so much for supporting this show and we’ll catch you later.” Oliver spoke excitedly.
