Kitty Kat couldn't stop staring at that stupid huge billboard. “RE-ELECT DIANE FOXINGTON!” What a joke. Kitty chuckled humorlessly. Surely she captured many voters' hearts. Charismatic and ambitious, she radiated determination, gave the people hope for the future. Funny… Nobody but she really knew what Diane was like. A sneaky thief, a partner in crime, a…
“Traitor.” Kitty mumbled.
“Hrm?” Pigtail glanced at Kitty from the driver's seat.
“It's nothing. Focus on the road.” Kitty grumbled.
Pigtail hummed. “You're always staring at those billboards like they offend you. You really hate the mayor, huh?”
“Kitty's got history with Foxington, remember?” came Doom's voice from the back.
“Oooh, she's THE Foxington, huh?”
“Yeah.” A sinister smile spread on Kitty's face. “And she won't be the mayor for long.”

Diane sighed. After all the meetings, piles of signed documents and constant calls, she sure was glad being back home. She kicked off her heels. Her neck was really killing her. Time for a nice shower, and some rest… But just as she turned to go to the bedroom, she heard a suspicious noise in the kitchen. Great, she thought, just what I need today.
Of course, during her time as the Crimson Paw, Diane acquired some enemies, that was undeniable. The was that sleazy porcupine, the arms dealer, a shifty weasel informer, not to mention other thieves and copycats who wanted to compete with Crimson Paw. Every possible face and name rushed through Diane's head at that moment. Did my past finally catch up to me?
But as she flipped the switch, a broad figure came in the light.
“Nice place you got here.”
“Kitty?” And there it is… my past.
“Funny, you still remember my name. Thought you forgot all about me.” Kitty seemingly absent-mindedly fidgeted with some trinket on the counter.
“What… What do you want?”
“Nothing in particular. Can't visit an old friend?” Her tone was playful, but her feline eyes glowed dangerously.
“Typically people don't break into friends’ homes for a visit.” Diane's mind was racing. She was hyperaware of every nearby object she could possibly use as a weapon.
“Well, maybe I was a bit impatient-"
Diane forcefully smacked Kitty with what turned out to be a pot lid. Kitty stumbled with a groan, and Diane used the opening to try to kick her off balance. But Kitty, quickly regaining herself, blocked her kick, and threw a punch. Diane swiftly dodged, and tried to put Kitty in a headlock. No luck - she underestimated how big Kitty really is. She threw Diane off herself, and Diane hit the floor hard. Damn, that neck pain was really killing her now.
“You got sloppy. I could never get the upper hand on you before, Red.” Kitty smirked.
“You're stronger now, I admit.” Diane huffed, wearily. Her gaze fell to a loose cord below Kitty's paws. "But you still lack agility.”
Before Kitty could react, Diane yanked the cord, and Kitty ungracefully tumbled to the floor. Diane didn't waste any time pinning her down.
“Hah. Clever fox…” Kitty purred.
“What are you planning?!”
“Missed you too.”
“Stop joking around!” She shoved Kitty against the floor. “You wouldn't just show up like this, out of the blue!”
“Well. Let's just say my associates possess some rather interesting video materials… And I don't think your beloved citizens would like them very much.”
“What… What kind of video materials?”
“Oh, you know, just the Crimson Paw being a bit careless.”
Diane felt panic creeping back in. She had to gather her thoughts for a moment to calm down. Surprisingly, Kitty seemed to have no intention of escaping her grasp, like she was rather comfortable on the floor.
“If it's the money you want-”
“Not just that. I have a deal for you.”
“What is it?”
“Do a heist with me.”
“...What?” Diane loosened her grip on Kitty in confusion, and used that to get Diane off of her.
“I'm being serious. That's the deal.”
Diane really wasn't sure what to do now.
“You wanna be buddies again? By- by blackmailing me?!”
“No one said anything about “buddies”. I need you for my crew. It's my final heist, and I want it to go perfectly.”
“That's… all?”
“Yes.”
“Okay… okay.” She mumbled to herself, still confused.
“Are you in?”
“Do I have a choice?”
Kitty smirked. “I don't think so.”
