Summary
He had such a mischievous glint in his eye that you couldn't help but laugh. He lead you out the doors to the end of the parking lot where a dark blue Plymouth Roadrunner was parked. He pushed you up against the side of the door and planted a firm, long kiss against your lips. The coarse hair on his mustache tickled, but it was quickly overpowered by his full lips and the way he locked them against yours. The night was cooler than you expected but the heat of his body melting against yours was enough against the chill of the air. He couldn’t help but chuckle against the kiss as he felt you shiver
“Ya know, as much as I’d like to continue this out here, I have a feeling you’d be a lot warmer in this here chariot” he said as he scooped you in his arm again and opened the door to the back seat. He dove into the back head first and swiveled around to pull you in, positioning you so that you were pulled flush against him once more.

It was on the aftermath of the Battle of Helms Deep that Aragorn turned down Éowyn's feelings. The one in whom she found a listening ear and a supportive shoulder on was Merry, and their encounters soon devolved into nights spent talking under the candlelight, where they would forget themselves as they stayed in Éowyn's tent for longer than proper.
In the night preceding the Rohirrim charge at Pelenor Fields, their feelings came to light in the midst of a passionate encounter. Like a blow of fresh, soothing wind, Merry's presence grounded Éowyn's heart in something loving and unfailing; in someone real.
