Keeping personal life and work separate as is, but well working at smosh it's near impossible, but Amanda tries. Personally she doesn't like bringing up anything personal at the office, if there is something she wants to say she will but usually she'll either keep it to herself or talk to her close ‘work'friends well their hanging out away from work.
All this to say Amanda doesn't like talking about personal shit at work, but when she notices her platonic wife acting odd she decides she's not above doing some… quite snooping… bring out her inner Sara Christ…
It took one day, Amanda started her morning sitting behind Angela at the staff meeting, she'd been zoning out a lot recently and Amanda was in the perfect position to see where she may be looking but dammit!! Damien came in with Shayne and Court, Damien had immediately moved to Angela's right and the two had started talking, Courtney had followed, sitting on Angela's left with Shayne in tow, honestly it's just Amanda's luck the first time she attempted to find out what was making Ange zone out and Damien was distracting her…
Eventually the meeting starts, Bailey is talking about how she needed volunteers to do script writing, Amanda is trying to pay attention but her focus is kinda still on Angela and oddly she isn't listening to Bailey either… because her and Damien are whisper to each other like school kids… it's honestly kinda cute, and for two people who don't really like touch their pretty close, their leaning against each other and Ange keeps leaning closer to whisper something to Damien, it's like their playing tntl well in a meeting because Damien keeps biting his lip and covering his mouth.
Amanda looks around, no one else has seen them, she smiles to herself, this was good, I mean Amanda had been so convinced something was wrong with Ange, but in reality she just has a crush, and it was clear Damien had a crush to because he hated being touched and always paid great attention in meetings and he was ignoring both these facts to talk and giggle with Angela.
Now part of Amanda wanted to immediately grab Angela and shake her for not telling her she likes Damien but then after thinking about it she realizes it may make things worse, besides it's not like Ange is bad at this sort of stuff, and Amanda is sure that when she is ready Angela will tell Damien or her…
Hopefully Damien and her will then be able to tell her their dating… wouldn't that be sweet! They'd be good together.

God… Shayne is bored… him and Damien are hanging out, and usually that is fun but Damien is being annoying, and not in the normal way, he keeps talking about Angela… ‘did you hear Ange's joke during tntl?’ or ‘she was wearing a new top today!’ even, ‘Angela said she liked my hoodie… I think it would look good on her.’
The worst part of the entire situation is Damien doesn't even seem to realize he is doing it, little comments we'll they talk, checking his phone more often, as if he thinks she's going to pop out of it.
Now don't get Shayne wrong he loves Angela, she's like his little sister, she is annoying and yet he'd take a bullet for her, but he doesn't want to hear about her all the time, and honestly Shayne is very confused as to why Damien keeps mentioning her, his breaking point comes when their halfway through their movie.
Shayne was almost in tears, he wasn't fully but it was close, the movie was emotional okay?! He heard a noise from Damien and being a good friend he turned to make sure he was okay (he was gonna laugh at him), but… he was fucking laughing!!! “Damien!” He dropped his phone and looked up, at least having the decency to look sheepish, “sorry…” Shayne is confused, if Damien didn't want to watch the movie they could have watched something else or even played a game. Damien's phone was still on the couch where Damien had dropped it, so Shayne grabbed it so he can see, ignoring Damien’s protests.
ANGUHLA!!
Angela: hey are you busy??
Damien: no.
Damien: Are you okay??
Damien: I thought you were hanging out with Chanse?
Angela: Yeah I'm alg!!
Angela: Chanse just went home and I'm bored… what are you doing?
Damien: Oh just watching a movie, more then free to talk!
Angela: Oh something nerdy I guess!! 🤓
Damien: exactly!! And we both know yp^$€#^&*$
That's where the conversation ends, Shayne’s jaw drops, he looks up and then back at the phone, then he gasps, “Oh!!!! That's why you're talking about Angie so fucking much!!” He finally says after a good few seconds, and Damien has since grabbed the phone back, presumably to text Angela back, “dude!! You've been flirting with Angela!! Our Angela!! Like… Angela from work!!” Damien gives him an odd look, he looks back at his phone and sends Angela another message, he waits for her to respond then puts the phone down, “did you seriously just ignore me so you could say bye??” Shayne hisses, Damien smiles sheepishly, he shrugs “ummm yeah?” He says, sounding unsure, "you have a crush on Angela!! ANGELA FROM WORK!!!!!” He yells waving his hands in the air like a crazy man, “ummm yes? A crush… I have a crush on Angela from work…” Damien says, still sounding unsure, but Shayne is too shocked to notice, “I need a moment…” Shayne says holding a hand up, so they change the topic and don't bring it up again, until Shayne leaves, “ummm dude… can you not tell anyone about this?” Damien sounds almost uncomfortable, so Shayne nods and hugs his best friend “can't do much better then Ange…” is the last thing Shayne says before leaving, “and don't tell Courtney!!” “aww man, really?!”

Tommy is good at his job. End of sentence. He can act, he's funny, he can edit, and he writes really good sketches! So when he's asked to come up with a sketch for Bit City he thinks it's easy, the episode is “first dates” and for some reason he's stumped… it's like his brain just stopped working, which is how Tommy ends up sitting with Courtney and begging for help.
“Wait, so you want me to help write a sketch?” Tommy nods ferociously, “please Court, my brain is broken!!” He practically sobs, flopping his head on the table, “okay dude… ummm so first dates… why don't you just do like a serial killer on a first date or something??” She suggests, “no can do… Arasha already suggested that, two serial killers trying to kill each other on a date or something.” Tommy says not raising his head. Courtney starts braiding bits of Tommy's hair, well she thinks, “what if we had like old characters come back and have a date or something?” She suggests, she almost falls over when Tommy quickly sits up, “omg that fucking perfect!!! Courtney ypu are a genius and I love ypu and if I was straight I'd marry you fuck Shayne!!” He rambles well standing up and walking away quickly.
He only gets like five steps away when he realizes he doesn't have any ideas on what characters to use and he goes back to Court, “umm do you maybe have an idea??” He asks, slipping back into the chair, “Oh uhhh….” Tommy groans and face plants again as Courtney thinks, “what about Amanda's tellietubbie And Ange as Detective where's my coffee??” Tommy looks up and thinks about it, “maybe… it may be a bit too chaotic.” He explains but still writes it down on his notepad as a suggestion, “that's true… what about..” she pauses clearly having no idea, “ooh!! I know! What about a date with the bystander?” Tommy exclaims, a few people look up at his sudden yell but quickly decide no one's in trouble and ignore it, after all yelling isn't exactly odd in the Smosh office.
“That could work but his thing is more being in the background,” Courtney says looking at the jumbled notes on the page, “it would make more sense if he was just like watching Angie's date…” Court suggests, Tommy writes it down and nods, “ooh that's good…”
Courtney stretches and looks around the room trying to get inspiration from something or someone around the room, she sees Chanse napping on the couch by the pit stage, Amanda talking to Bailey in the kitchen and Angela talking to Damien at Erin's desk (it's Erin's day off), “what if we brought back Todd from straight eye?” She says looking at Tommy quickly, “the fans loved his flirting with Ange and it would be hysterical to see like a continuation of it!” Tommy nods, writing it down excitedly, “that's brilliant!”
The two spend a little time writing a rough script of the date but ultimately decide Angela and Damien are more than able to improve most of it. Tommy pitches it at the meeting the next morning, Ange easily agrees thinking it will be funny and Damien follows her lead. Much to Tommy's amusement Courtney jokingly insists to supervise filming due to Tommy's creativity block the day before, it was a joke but ultimately Tommy insisted she was there to help anyway seeing as it was her idea too.
The two spend a while with art, Ange and Damien talking about the scene a bit, in order to find out what props will be needed and other shit like that. “I reckon Todd would be like a classic movie and dinner date kinda guy.” Damien admits from his seat at the table, “definitely, but I reckon he's more of a dinner the movie at home sorta guy,” Angela suggests from Damien's left, “I mean, I love Todd but he doesn't seem like the guy to spend money at the movies when he has a TV at home.” She giggles when Damien gives her a fake shocked look, “I mean you can't waste money on food and girls when you can spend it on video games.” Damien says in his Todd voice making Angela burst into laughter well Damien chuckles.
“Okay… so maybe we do like an actual ask out scene, then dinner and finish at Todd's house for movies?” Tommy says, it seems to snap Damien and Angela out of a daze, like they both forgot the others were there, “so we really just need background props from two locations, clothes, and I figure we could do the ask out scene on the Bit City stage?” Ollie asks, making sure they've got everything, Ange nods, “yeah I think that's it!” Court also confirms, she then turns to Damien and Angela, “we don't really have a script, figured you two are capable of improving it mostly?” They both nod and they break up all agreeing that they have time to film that afternoon, giving art time to get all props ready.
The first scene is easy, Angela was already in her oversized suit jacket at her desk seeing as she had just filmed the opening bit of Bit City, Damien was quickly dressed as Todd, they were at the desk talking well cameras are set up, they were both already mixed and Courtney was talking to Tommy about a few setbacks they had with the restaurant set, “hey Court!?” Ange calls out, when she looks over she sees ange covering Damien's mouth well he smirks, and it almost looks like she's blushing, “can we get another guy for me to flirt with!?” She's clearly joking but both Tommy and Courtney are curious as to what caused it, “sorry babe it has to be Damien!” She calls back making Damien laugh and sticks his tongue out at her, she slaps his arm and they both start laughing, Tommy and Court share a look but before they can say anything Brenen says they're ready to film.
The beginning scene is pretty simple, it's really just Angela and Damien talking, “is that them flirting?? because it seems… familiar?” Tommy whispers to Court who nods in agreement. Once the ask out scene is done Angela and Damien go get changed into the date clothes well the cameras are being reset up at the restaurant background, Damien gets back first, he's put on a pair of black shorts and a white short sleeve button up and d black sneakers, “wow it's like a fast food place,” Damien chuckles, “and it definitely works for Todd!” Courtney giggles and Damien agrees, “you look good, remember Todd is a bit of… a straight dude… so don't be your usual self!” Tommy says well Damien is being mic checked.
Angela arrives a few minutes later and Tommy can't help but notice Damien's eyes practically widening… she's had her hair ruffled, a few strands being held back by silver heart clips, she's in a loose black dress, has a white purse, white heels, and her makeup is done up a bit more than her usual work look, “omg!! Ange, you look stunning!!” Court says clearly not noticing Damien's odd look, “thanks! It feels weird being so well dressed during a sketch…” Angela says, making a few people laugh, she moves to sit on the seat opposite Damien on set, “y- you look gorgeous.” Damien Says, Ange raises her brows slightly and smirks, “thanks Todd…” She giggles as Damien snaps back into character, “right yeah!! I was totally right, you should be like a model!" Court looks around the room, no one seems to notice it except Tommy who returns her look.
The final part comes up and the two are now sitting on a couch listening to Tommy, “so we thought the last scene would be like you two just like watching a movie but then we are gonna turn the camera and it will show the bystander, obviously Shane is filming reddit stories right now so we'll edit him in but we're gonna take photos of him at every scene like he was watching the whole date just for like a little twist at the end!” Damien nods and moves to get comfortable, “Kay we ready?” Court asks, everyone nods and they start, neither talks but ‘Todd’ does the fake yawn move and drapes his arm over Angela's shoulder, she blushes a little but leans into him, “I had a great night Todd…” she says smiling up at him, “yeah! I don't think I've ever had so much fun with a girl without having sex!” ‘Todd’ says, Courtney is a little confused, she knows Damien doesn't really like being touched, even when acting he doesn't really do it unless asked specifically, but here he is easily cuddling Angela, Tommy is watching them oddly as well, they exchange a look and smile, “your seeing it… right?” Courtney whispers to Tommy who nods, “you think they realize they like each other?" He asks in the same hushed tone, “Eh, they'll figure it out…”

Spencer loves his job… he loves it… remember how cool your job is…. Murder is wrong…
But how fucking hard is it to remember the rules of a game Spencer explained five times already!? And for once Angela remembers!! It's Arasha that's confused, honestly Spencer can't take credit for Angela's quick understanding, she's been acting odd today, maybe she had a bad morning, and he's pretty sure Damien explained the rules to her quietly well Spencer was going through his third explanation.
After Spencer explains for the sixth time Shayne decides that they'll figure it out, so Spencer moves to his seat where he has his own little mic.
“Hello gals, bros, and nonbinary hoe's!” Angela says excitedly but honestly it looks a little fake to Spencer, it makes everyone laugh though, she pauses and looks around, “should we cut that? I can go again…” she looks at Spencer questioningly, he shakes his head masking his laugh as a cough, “no… not just keep going!” She nods and continues the intro, “today we're going to play Decrypto! There is a link to an instruction video but as a quick explanation we are going to be in two teams, both teams will have a hidden board with four words, well take turns picking up a card with three numbers, the numbers will relate to the words, and we will try give clues so our team can guess but the other team won't.” She finishes looking around, “was that good?” She seems unsure but Damien nods quickly assuring her she did great, “if they don't understand they can watch the video!” Shayne agrees.
“Okay! So we are already on teams! Me, Court and Chanse are team Fablicious and then Shayne Damien and Noah are team Cryptenoly?” “Crypticanoly” Noah corrects making Ange laugh before continuing “right my bad, anyway, so there the teams, obviously we're going to win so let's get started!” Spencer puts the words in the boards so there is no ‘cheating,’ he shows the words to the cameras so they know.

They play a few rounds and Angela just accidentally gives an obvious clue causing the other team to get a point, she dramatically flops onto the table well Chanse jokingly groans, “bitch that was too easy!!” He nudges her, “wait if they guess ours again they win!?” Court confirms, looking at Spencer who nods, “I'm sorry!” She says well Shayne teases her, “okay my turn!” Damien says looking at his card, “umm work, outside, hook.” He says, Spencer notices he's Not looking at the card, he's looking at Angela, and he's tapping the table odd, like… is he giving her the answer?? he can't help think it's odd but he shrugs it off, Damien is competitive, he wouldn't lose on purpose, Angela quickly grabs the paper their team puts their clues on and makes a suggestion that both Court and Chance agree with, “yeah that makes sense with the other clues we've got, or that one could me this-” “no!!” Angela interrupts Chanse “sorry but I am positive!” Chanse Shrugs, and Court “Kay babe, I trust you” she says patting Ange on the back, there's a bit more talking then Angela reads out the code “is it three four one?” She asks, Damien nods clearly faking annoyance, “yes!! We're tied!!” Court gives Angela a high five well Chanse flips off the other team, “okay next team to guess it right wins!” Shayne says, reminding them that it's Chanse’s turn to give the clue, “okay, yellow, cook and dive.” Chanse says hoping it's not enough for the other team to figure out.
Spencer watches, still kinda confused as Shayne and Noah write a suggestion and Damien suggests something else, the others seem unsure but Damien seems confident so they agree, “alright we are ready!” Noah says “is it one, four, three?” Noah asks, Chanse denies it, “is it two, four, three?!” Angela asks, smiling wider than Spencer had seen all day, Chanse cheers and nods showing the card, Shayne nudges Damien, “dude if you didn't change it we would've won!”
Angela's team ends up winning, there is no surprise there in Spencer's mind, it was clear to him that Damien threw the game, and usually he'd be annoyed but he's a bit confused, he watches Ange do the outro, she's a lot happier, obviously she looked happy before but she's a good actor so it's hard to tell when she's faking, but this looks more really to Spencer.
He's still thinking about this well at lunch later, he's sitting outside the kitchen and hears talking, it's unlike him to eavesdrop but he's right there, it's not his fault he can hear it, “did you throw the game?” that is Angela, “what! Why would you think that!?” Okay so Angela is talking to Damien, “you literally gave me one of the answers!” She's laughing so that's good, at least Spencer thinks so, “well maybe a tiny bit… but you get so happy when you win and I saw you were having a rough morning…” Spencer is starting to feel bad listening, it honestly sounds like they're flirting a little… omg!! Do Damien and Angela like each other!? “Wow! The one and only competitive Mister Hass let me win just to make me happy!” Okay Angela is definitely flirting! “honestly that makes me happier than winning!” aww… honestly Spencer has to admit that's kinda cute… they'd be good together.

It was new years, sometimes smosh has a party, but this year everyone is just doing their own stuff, Angela had decided it would be fun to go to a karaoke bar, she'd given an open invite to anyone at work. The bar was cute, it wasn't to busy usually but today it was pretty full, probably due to it being new years eve, the walls were velvety red but they were covered in posters and led lights, there was the normal karaoke stage but it was very crowded and all the tables and booths were full, Chanse almost immediately turned around to leave, but he noticed Ange standing at the front and went over, “hey bitch… pretty crowded…” she Looks up and smiles “don't worry I booked a private room like five weeks ago, I was just waiting for you!” She said turning and pretty much skipping away meaning Chanse had to practically run to catch up.
The room Angela booked was upstairs, it had a mini bar that Tommy was handling that, no surprise there, he sees cast and crew mingling, Courtney is singing a duet with Amanda, they sound great, Angela immediately runs into the room clapping and cheering for them.
Chanse heads over to Tommy “he dude…” he says smiling when Tommy immediately hands him a drink, “thanks,” it's good, its a cocktail, nothing intense but good, “I can't believe Angie managed to book this place on new years eve,” Tommy admits sipping his own drink, Chanse can't help but agree, “it wouldn't have even occurred to me to book a private room five weeks ago!” Chanse agrees, “Oh Damien suggested it!” Angela says, giving both men a fright as neither had heard her walking up to them, but wait what? “When- how- huh??” Chanse asks very confused “Oh well I mentioned to Damien that I wanted to do a karaoke like party on new years, and he was like ‘oh it will be real busy you should book a room before it gets too late’ so i booked the room!!” She explains excitedly then she leaves again heading over to the corner where Chanse notices Damien, huh… he hadn't thought Damien would be there, parties aren't exactly his thing, “well that explains that then…” Tommy smiles almost knowingly confusing Chanse even more.
He watches Angela for the rest of the night, she seems normal, sure she hangs out with Damien like a lot but maybe they're just getting closer? He thought he may have just been overreacting after a while but then they did a duet… it was a love song, and omg the way they were looking at each other, Chanse was shocked no one else seemed to be batting an eye, and it barely looked like they knew what they were doing… maybe Chanse was right, “holy shit…” he can't help but mutter under his breath, there's a chuckle behind him and he turns to see Amanda.
“You only now pricing it together?” She's clearly teasing but Chanse is in no mood, “you knew and didn't tell me?? Why!! Angela is helpless, she needs my help.” Amanda gives him a firm look, it makes Chanse feel like he's being scolded by his mother… “you will stay out of it. Angie can look after herself…” she says firmly, and honestly Chanse knows she's right but he's nosey, oh and he wants Angela to be happy. “But Damien would be perfect for her… and we both know neither of them will say anything…” Amanda is considering it now but she really doesn't want to get involved, “alright… we have a long weekend, once we get back to work we will bring it up to Ange… okay?” Chanse nods quickly, he can work with that, it gives him time to write a little speech to convince Angela to actually talk to Damien.

Everyone ends up back at work on Wednesday, it was a five day weekend so everyone was pretty excited to see each other, Chanse and Amanda don't even get a chance to talk to Angela until lunch. She's alone at the time, just having grabbed her lunch to sit at one of the tables, Chanse quickly sits next to her, Amanda follows but much more calmly.
“Hi?” She's clearly confused, “hello sweetie!!” Amanda gives her a side hug, “we wanted to talk to you!” Thankfully Angela relaxes at that and not for the first time Chase is glad Amanda is here, “about what? I feel like I'm being told off by my parents,” she jokes, Chanse laughs but he can't help thinking she sorta is, “we have a que-""you have a crush on Damien!” Chanse interrupts, it's a bit more blunt than Amanda was going to do it but oh well… it's out there now.
Angela freezes “wh- wha-” Chanse gives her an unbelieving look, “don't try to deny it, we've both seen the way you look at each other!” She closes her mouth and takes a breath, “babes we are trying to be kind about this,” Amanda says shooting Chanse a look, “but you both clearly like each other, and before you deny it he looks at you like you hung the fucking stars,” Chanse continues, it clear they'd rehearsed this and that makes Angela smile, “we just think you should consider talking him about it.” Amanda says, taking Angela's hand and smiling at her reassuringly, Angela nods and stands up, “you're right!” She says smirking, Chanse is shocked, he hadn't thought it would be that easy.
To both their confusion she practically skips across the room, “Damien!!!!” She screams causing the whole room to look at her, including Damien who is sitting at a table with Shayne, Courtney, Erin, Bailey, Noah and Ian, “what” he yells back, clearly used to her antics, yelling isn't exactly unusual at smosh but this was different, “Amanda and Chanse said I should tell you about my big crush on you!!” She yells causing multiple people to gasp including both Shayne and Tommy, Courtney covers her mouth in shock well Spencer, Amanda, Chanse and pretty much everyone else stares in slight horror, but Damien smiles slightly before masking it and gasping, “really!? Shayne told me the same thing!!” He yells in return, it confuses almost everyone, had they misread the signals? Is this a joke?
They both start laughing after a few seconds and turn to look at the shocked faces, “honestly when Shayne asked if I had a crush on you I thought he was joking but I realized we never actually told anyone we were dating!” Damien says making everyone gape,”I wore your clothes to work last week? How did no one notice!” Angela is gasping for air at his point and Damien is ignoring all the questions being thrown at them, well smiling at her…
Keith looks around confused, “wait you guys didn't know?!”
