Chapter Text
A soft tap on the window alerted him that he has a visitor.
The young man approached the window and opened it, asking the redhead as he helped him inside "Did anyone see you?"
"Not that I know"
"Good" said the boy, closing the window to keep the cold out.
"Not even a hug, not even a hello, just a 'good'" said Kid Flash, arms crossed.
Robin hugged him and kissed him on the cheek, making the other melt in his arms.
"This is better" said Kid Flash with a smile
"Come on, I didn't invite you over to chat, I invited you over to sleep" said Robin
"At your service, my king" said Kid Flash, leading the other to the bed "Lucky I already put on my pajamas"

"Well, guys, I'm off. I beg you not to burn down the tower or destroy it, and please stop the crime while I'm gone" said Robin, a gym bag slung over his shoulder
"Where are you going?" asked Beast Boy
"To pay off the debts we owe" said Robin, walking toward the elevator
"I thought Batman paid for the tower" said Starfire
"Ha, no. Batman wouldn't even pay for a vacation" Robin said before stepping into the elevator
"When are you coming back?" Raven asked
"In two weeks" "Don't kill each other" Robin said with a smile before the elevator doors closed.
Robin was happy to be walking the streets in civilian clothes. His sunglasses protected his eyes from the giant gas ball's beams, and he walked with a confident stride.
A light breeze made him shiver, but it passed quickly.
"You're late" Robin said
A smirk beside him and an annoyed voice said "You damn punctual guy"
"What good is super speed if you can't even be on time?"
"What good is a team if they don't even listen to you?"
The two boys entered a rather tall glass building
"Oh, boys, you're finally here" a woman with brown hair and blue eyes said, holding a briefcase.
The two young men smiled at her and greeted her politely
"Wally, please escort Samantha" "Dick with me"
The guys escorted their respective womans to their workplaces.
"What do we have for today, Carol?" Dick asked as he led the girl to a dressing room.
"Casual clothes from DyC" Carol said through the closed dressing room door "Makeup in five and touch-ups in 20"
"Plus a new winter collection this afternoon" Carol added, accompanying the guy to the makeup room
Exactly 23 minutes later, Richard was standing on a small pedestal where they were finishing adding some shine to his hair
"Alright, ladies, space" Wally said, making room for Dick in the center
"Now pose for me, darling" Wally said, putting his eye to the camera's viewfinder
He might have been known for flirting with the models, but no one was faster with a flash than Wally West, the best photographer in the state.

"I think it was a good shot" Richard said, reviewing the photos on the screen
"We need to polish a few details" Wally said, typing on the computer
"I'll go see if I can get the glitter out of my hair" Dick said, dropping silver glitter onto the other's desk
"Get me a coffee if you can" Wally said, throwing the glitter on the floor with one hand
Two hours later, Dick reappeared, changed back into the clothes he'd been wearing, his hair slightly damp, and holding two coffees.
"Are you done?" The young man asked, seeing Wally stretch his arms.
"Yes" the boy said, turning off his computer and getting up from his chair to grab his coffee and head for the exit.
Carol found them before they left "I'll see you Tuesday at 8, and thanks for coming today"
"Thanks for inviting us" Wally said
"I thought it was at 7" Dick said, frowning.
"It was, but the flight was delayed, and we're going to have to postpone the photo shoot" Carol said
"Oh, okay, thanks for letting us know, Carol" Dick said with a smile
Now, the two young men left the building
"Haven't you thought about getting a secretary?" Wally asked
"Why?" Dick said
"So she can keep you informed of any last-minute changes" Wally said
"That's what you're there for" Dick said "You're the only photographer I work with. If something happens that I don't know about, you'll know and you'll let me know"
Wally shook his head, but smiled "Only the best for the best, right?"
Dick laughed "Sure"
"You're so mean"
"Only for you, darling."

A knock on his bedroom door woke him up, and he threw the body next to him under the bed.
Robin was about to protest, but he saw the boy approaching the door and hid among the pile of clothes under the bed to remain concealed.
The sound of the door opening made him freeze.
"Are you coming down to eat or what?" Bumblebee asked.
"I'm coming. Let me change" Wally said.
Bumblebee looked him up and down.
"You're not hiding something, are you?" Bumblebee said
"Yeah, my ex in the closet doesn't bother you" Wally said, looking at his friend with tired eyes
"Sure... You know that if you go back to that idiot, we'll beat you up to make you see reason" Bumblebee said
"Relax, Bumble. I'm not going back to Roberto" Kid Flash said
"You better not" Bumblebee said
The boy closed the door and leaned against it, sighing in relief.
"Was that necessary?" Robin asked, emerging from under the bed.
"Do you want them to see you here?" Kid Flash asked.
"No, but I don't want such a rough start to my day either" Robin said, getting up from the floor.
Kid Flash approached him and grabbed his waist, pulling him close and kissing him on the lips.
"Sorry, my love, but it was necessary" Kid Flash said "Now come on, you have to go and I need to have breakfast"
Robin laughed and kissed him again "See you later"
"Make up some good insults. We'll meet up on patrol" Kid Flash said
Robin smiled and went to the closet to grab a hoodie "I'll take it"
Kid Flash smiled at him "Remember to return it and don't keep it forever"
"Only when it loses its scent" Robin said before climbing out the window

Robin was in the kitchen. The Titans had gone off to do something Robin didn't care about, leaving him the tower to himself.
The boy was cooking when he heard humming coming from the living room.
"You'd better not make a mess of my entryway!" he yelled at the person who had entered his kitchen.
"You're hurting my feelings, my love. You know I don't mess with your cleaning. Not after the last time I came in with muddy boots and you threw a pot at my head" said Kid Flash
"I just finished cleaning" was the boy's only reply
"What are you doing?" Kid Flash approached the boy
"Stew, now sit down and look pretty" Robin said as he sliced the carrots.
Kid Flash smiled, but in a flash, he leaned in to give Robin a kiss on the cheek and then quickly sat down at the table, only to look innocently at the boy.
Robin shook his head and continued picking up potatoes to peel them.
"So, I wanted to know if you could come with me somewhere on Wednesday" Kid Flash said when he couldn't stand the silence in the room any longer.
"Where?" Robin asked, turning to look at the boy before throwing the peeled and sliced potatoes into the pot.
"You know that superhero dance Superman throws every year?" Kid Flash asked
"The one we're banned from because the boys ate a whole pig with their hands?" Robin asked
"That's the one" Kid Flash said with a grin
Robin stirred the stew with a spoon as he looked at the boy
"I convinced the old reporter to let me invite you, but only if you don't bring your team with you" Kid Flash said
"Are you asking me to a dance?"
"Yes"
"Where are many of our acquaintances?"
"Yes"
"And where would I go as your date?"
"Yes"
"So you want to reveal our relationship to the world?"
"Exactly"
Robin smiled and put the stew on the stovetop over medium heat. He approached the boy, who was still sitting on the table, and looked him in the eye.
"Why now?" ask Robin"
Kid Flash brought one of the boy's hands to his mouth and kissed his knuckles.
"At first, I wanted to keep this relationship a secret because I wasn't sure if it would last. It was much easier to insult you in public and kiss you in private. I didn't have to worry about what people would say—my friends, my uncles, your dad, your team, or the media. I only worried about whether you were happy and whether we were okay" Kid Flash said
Robin listened
"But we've been in this relationship for two and a half years. I can say for now that we're not going to break up. I don't know what the future holds, but for now, I want to be able to kiss you on patrol and take you on dates without fear of being recognized. I want to be able to love you in private and in public. I want to be able to see you without having to climb in through a window, give you gifts without having to leave them in pre-selected alleys. I want to be able to kiss you in front of your team and flip that Tamaranean princess the middle finger"
Robin chuckled at the last part "I thought you were over your jealousy of Star"
"Almost" Kid Flash said with a grin
"I also want to be able to tease Speedy and kiss you right in front of him just to mess with him about our relationship and remind him he's still single. I want to be able to come to your tower for breakfast, sleep with you, and not have to hide in the closet when someone comes to your room. I want to be able to brag to my team about being the first to have an official relationship of years before them. I want to be able to flirt with you outside of photoshoots, and most importantly, I want to be able to love you freely" Robin said, placing his hands on Kid Flash's hips.
"So, are you okay with going to the dance?" Kid Flash asked
"Yes, Wally. Let's show those superheroes what a young gay couple can do" Robin said
Kid Flash smiled "You have no idea how much I love you"
"Yes, I do" Robin said before pulling Kid Flash closer so they could kiss each other.
