   “You been checkin’ me out, Dwight?” David's voice sent shivers down Dwight's spine. He quickly shook his head.

   “N-no! I mean— maybe? A little. Sort of.” Dwight began to tap his foot. He couldn't lie to save his life. “It— it's hard not to, y'know?” He laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head. David crossed his arms as he watched the smaller man.

   “Wanna get a better look?” Dwight whipped his head towards David, his mouth agape.

   “Are—? No, er— yes. M-maybe. You, uh, you don't— you don't have to, I mean, I'm not gonna like… Make you.” David practically cackled at Dwight's hopeless stuttering. He quickly calmed himself down and leaned slightly forward, dark brown eyes piercing through Dwight's own.

   “Just say yes, boy.”

   “Yes.” Dwight breathed. The word came out before he could even think twice about it.
