Chapter Text
"-and so, we thought you would be the best person for it!" Yuu exclaimed, clapping their hands.
"THAT EXPLAINS NOTHING!" Sebek yelled, exapserated. "ALL YOU'VE SAID WAS THAT I AM A HALF-FAE, LIKE SERIA-SAN'S CHILD! YOU DRAGGED ME HERE WITHOUT EVEN EXPLAINING!" He stood up, fully intending to go back to Wakasama and fulfil his duty.
Before he could leave, however, Seria held his hand.
"Sebek, I understand if you do not wish to participate. But this is very important to me. We will explain properly this time, so please listen."
He could possibly not deny that, not when Lilia-sama's friend looked at him with such hopeful eyes. So he huffed, glaring at Yuu-Who at least had decency to look sheepish-as he sat down again.
"This video will be both a memorial and reminder. An attempt to fix screwed vision." Despite the fact that Seria did not specify what he was talking about, Sebek could instantly realize what this was about. The war between humans and faes.
The reason his grandfather hated humans so much. The reason Lilia-sama sometimes got the same haunted look that was present in Seria's eyes right now.
The reason Silver sometimes came back with bruise. The reason Wakasama lost his mother.
Oh, how had he yelled when he realized humans had changed their history for their sake.
"...And how exactly do we plan to do so?" When Sebek asked with his arms crossed, both Yuu and Seria smiled brightly.
If this could ease his grandfather's tensions, if this could lessen the dirty looks his dormmates gave Silver, and if this could help Lilia-sama sleep easier at night...
Then he would do it with as much effort he could put in.
Leona Kingscholar was not having a good day.
Why, you ask? There were several reasons.
One, Jack Howl had been caught while he was on his way to Ramshackle Dorm. Now, this normally would not be a problem. He wasn't the kind of House Warden to control who his students can hang out with. But for past few weeks, that has resulted in his freshman either dying or having intention of dying in the video that herbivore made.
Two, apparently that bird-head of his headmaster had forgotten to sign a contract for some ingredients, which meant his favorite meal was not served for at least a month.
Third, one of Ruggie's slum kids has fallen ill. While he sent appropriate medicine for him, Ruggie had taken himself to take care of the said kid personally, which meant his usual routine was ruined.
And finally, that damn lizard was in front of him, asking him where his retainer was.
Hell if he knew. Why the hell did he assume so in the first place?
"What a great lord you are, letting your retainer run free after all that videos." Leona scoffed, fully expecting the dragon fae to retort.
Instead, he looked confused.
"Videos?" Malleus repeated, tilting his head just a bit.
No way. No way in hell.
"Sebek has not mentioned such a thing. And where was this video played?" Malleus, either oblivious or not caring enough to address Leona's inner turmoil, crossed his arms.
This damn glorified lizard didn't even know about the existence of the videos. Meaning, he was doing just fine, with that annoying smile, while he was out here having heart attacks.
No, no. That is not acceptable now, is it?
If he were to suffer, that lizard sure as hell was going to.
So he snatched Malleus' phone from his pocket-He needed to buy Ruggie donut after this-and created him a magicam account, following herbivore.
Just as Malleus managed to get his phone back, a notification rang.
Ding!
Yuu has uploaded a video!
Yuu:I had my friends sing a song!
Yuu:Please refrain yourself from commenting any hateful things, for this video was based on real events.
"Go on, click it. Play it." Leona grinned as he crossed his arms. It was not his freshman who was appearing in the video, he was sure.
And considering what the lizard has been looking for...
He left as he spot Lilia and Silver walking towards them, grinning as he imagined what kind of chaos would break out.
