The attempt of trying to rewrite and a dream.
(Might need feedbacks on writing cuz of my horrendous word choice)
Imma put world building here.
One day, a meteor caused the whole planet to be submerged by the sheer amount of mana. Researchers theorized that the meteor is a shard of a planet outside of our orbit.
At first, only plants are affected. Then the living being starts to change under the environment. Some travelers have noticed strange plants growing, those who are lucky gain benefit, but for those who aren’t, it’s a different story.
When people first discovered magic, they were surprised and distressed by this new unknown ability. They even thought of hiding it until it became public as almost everyone started to have the same ability. Magic was then accepted as part of the lifestyle, technology started to advance with the ease of using magic. This also comes with backlash, many got sick and had the same symptoms until they found out that their body has already changed into a storage for mana, which means that if they use too much, they’ll experience higher temperature and mental fatigue.
Things start to get worse when demons arrive on earth, they intend to rule the planet, theory says that they could come from the same planet as where the meteor came from.
Strange things happened in a way that traveling isn’t safe, people went missing after traveling, survivors described a maze-like place where they encountered humanoid beings that attacked them. There’s no answer for why this happened, but a few speculate that the demons had created the mazes, or the instability caused by that meteor had affected the Earth more than they have known.
Perhaps god had answered them, they chose 5 peoples to become guardians, it doesn’t seem like it was anything other than title. Until people saw that they could seal stronger demons with a small fraction of the god’s power. It’s not known when god started choosing, but their pupils are a sign of their identity.
