How much your life is truly worth? Expensive? Cheap?
And what's this «worthiness», what is its holy purpose?
Some people may declare they know the secret trick –
they would be lying, they don't understand this crazy circus.
What does it mean «to know», «to cherish», «to be true»?
And what's this so called knowledge conveying?
To understand the mystery of Life you must endure,
but even then there is a chance your quest will be a failure.
What does it really mean «to be», «to love», «to live»?
What is «inception»? What is «death» and «karma»?
We want to live forever, though it's pretty clear,
that the obscurity of death we ought to take a little calmer.
Death is a constant, just a door to the Unknown.
But Life is something convoluted and unfair:
it is appealing like some shiny trinket for a crow,
it's cruel like fighting with no rules, no winners, no fanfare.
Somebody's quietly pleased with their earthly toll.
Somebody sees their presence as some form of retribution.
Some people think that their lives are on the roll.
Some people think this life's exclusive from its start to its conclusion.
But people value their lives, or not at all, it's just a game:
they pray to gods with their conscience stained with blood.
The Day of Judgment will arrange the standard rate,
the saving grace will be their capacity to love.
