"So is this a private pity party or can anyone join in?" shock aside neither Sun or Terra were going to dignify the entity with a fearful response. Truth be told Sun was more irritated than scared that a quite evening with his sister had been ruined by this strange hybrid of Bill Cipher and Batman.
Terra was less than impressed, watching the dark Lunar Model floating above them with the annoyance of a parent who had caught their child writing on the walls.
"Umm... Do we need to put a bell on you?" the cosmic entity twisted in the air, regarding Terra for a moment before chuckling dryly "Oh my, you're certainly more spicy than the last Earth I met.... granted I had turned her into a spice rack at the time" neither sibling laughed at the statement. You honestly could not tell if this was some twisted joke or dark statement of fact from this creature.
And, honestly, Sun did not want to find out; his magic already seeping....
"I wouldn't if I were you Sun" Titan warned, face still smiling but, eyes glinting with an unspoken warning that promised nothing good "You know for someone who claimed he only came here to watch you seem to like butting in quite a bit" he noted coldly. The Lunar model chuckled "Oh there are many ways to watch people Sun" he was suddenly painfully close to the sunny model "I just like to get an up close and personal look at things" he drifted back.
"And truth be told.... I cant see what Cosmos see's in you two" he sounded disappointed "I mean, your supposed to be the "good" ones in the family" the siblings shared a look; uncertain who was going to be the hero or the fool to step on this landmine. Titan did not seem to notice or care, continuing "A sheltered, entitled princess and a brother who does not know when to pull the trigger when it counts" he turned back, watching their faces.
Almost daring an attack from a fireball or a Security Protocol enhanced fist.
Neither moved, "Is this your big plan, come in and pick on our faults?" Terra sounded less than impressed "I mean, its cute in a way but, its a bit childish truth be told" the dark Lunar model simply giggled "Yeh, that must really get under your skin Terra" the earth model shrugged dismissively; actually treating the cosmic entity like a child throwing a tantrum " Not really, I've lived with Cosmos, you're just a brattier version of him" the aura around the other being seemed to darken.
"Brattier... hmm that's an interesting word coming from the person who belittles him every other day she see's him" despite himself Sun flinched "That's not..." Sun found his lips sealed with a gesture from Titan "Wait your turn Sun" he tutted before turning back to Terra "I mean, yeh I get why you used to do it back when he still had his powers" he circled Terra like a shark "I mean even with your protocols he could have broken every joint in your endo, never mind cripple you with Dark Star Power" Terra did not flinch or look remotely afraid.
Not even when Titan ignited his hand with Dark Star Power.
"Now, what he did was an accident but, me, I could do so much worse on purpose" he eyes glinted like a madman "However, where's the fun in that?" Terra stepped forward slightly "You don't scare me, you do know that right?" the smaller being smirked "Oh that's not the object of the exercise, not with little miss wants a perfect life" "Nothing wrong with wanting a quite life" Sun was actually impressed with his sister standing up to this creature with no trace of fear.
Titan however, was not getting annoyed by the defiance, no, if anything, he seemed to be enjoying it.
"Oh, I have not met an arrogant Earth like you in a long time" he circled her again "So sure, so pleased with yourself despite the handicaps but, then again picking on someone who cant fight back has that effect" Sun tilted his head in confusion; honestly this kind of talk was a bit hypocritical coming from a creature who seemed to treat the rest of creation as if they were ants to burn under a magnifying glass.
Titan tilted his head in Sun's direction, a cruel little smirk on his face.
"I mean, Sun and the others never really step in when you rip strips out of Cosmos with your quips and put down but, I suppose after a time you delude yourself enough, you start to believe it really is a bit of harmless teasing" he floated around to Sun "Or perhaps on some level you think Cosmos deserves it... I mean he did cripple Terra and, did nothing to stop Dazzle's heart being broken by Jack" Sun swallowed, still unable to speak but, not certain if the words could be found has the entity looked him up and down.
Titan smirked "Oh, clumsy me" a hand gesture returned Sun his voice "Now, Sun, care to add your two cents on the matter?" he drifted back "Protect dear sweet Terra from my spiteful tongue or... hmm I know lets get Cosmos to do it?" he looked around for a moment "Might be a bit tricky what with his star power locked up but, hey you could always throw a fireball in my face if things get really heated" the fear in Sun found some steal now "Shut up and get out!" the small entity giggled "What is it about Nexus that turns you into a yo-yo Sun?" he drifted forward again "I mean you both screwed him up in your own ways too but, honestly, it says something Sun when you care more about a dead husk than the pain of your still living brother" that sentence might as well have been a blade to the heart.
"Oh, you really need to leave now" Terra actually sounded a bit more than irritated now "Well I'm right you know and, I know what Cosmos knows and, brief though he tenure as an Astral was, in all that time none of you asked him how it was" he turned back to Terra "Hell you were practically jumping up and down, metaphorically, for him to sign up and be off to die in a cosmic war" maybe it was the tone or the posture but, something in those words had Terra back up a touch.
"It... it was the best option for Cosmo" the other entity smirked, drifting away from Sun "Hmm best for who Terra? Him or the rest of you?" he burst out laughing before either of them could answer "Oh, my stars you really are that dense, I just need to look at you to know the answer before you open your mouths" he shook his head "Really shows how much you all care if you send him off to war and a doomed war at that" he shook his head before looking back at them "Doesn't seem like a fair trade so you can all have a happy ever after does it?" he drifted back.
"But hey, what do I know hmm, I mean perhaps losing an arm or a leg or heck even his life might have shaken some sense into you... get you to appreciate what you had" a shrug "But, I guess we will never know huh?"
He was gone before they could answer; leaving nothing but silence and awkward guilt.
