This was bigger than any one of them.Lance’s expression shifted to one of realization. “This whole mission you’ve been throwing your life on the line for no reason.” He began to speak slowly, “I- This whole time I thought you hated working with me but you really want to get yourself killed, don't you?”
Keith drops his head, refusing to meet Lance’s eyes. He had really thought the rest of the team shared this mindset, but he hadn’t given much thought to how their personal lives might change that.
They really shouldn’t be talking about the the this now, not with a dead body between them.✮ ✩
