Only by gaining that does the seeker become truth himself, a cord that connects past and future
but now, our guest's destiny has been severed, and the truth languishes within the hollow, filled forest...
A familiar melody plays in the background as Yu Narukami rubs his eyes "h-huh? what happened?" He looked around for answers only to find disappointed looks from Igor and Margaret. that gave him a little insight on what had happened to him
"Ah...it seems my dear guest couldn't reach for the truth at the end" the bizarre old man lamented as he shook his head. Yu couldn’t understand…why? What does ‘truth’ even means by this point!?
"couldn't? b-but we caught adachi?" Yu started calmly but it was obvious he was scared...and perhaps disappointed himself “W-we caught the real culprit and ended Ameno-sagiri’s plans?!
Igor shook his head "Do you not remember? ....Regardless, time is running out, my guest. I hope you do find your answer-" Yu wanted to understand just what was going on...he was going back home when he was suddenly surrounded by fog.
"we cannot simply allow all of your progress in the search for the truth to be all in vain" Interrupted Margaret, to that Igor nodded with his usual cryptic smile returning
Yu started feeling his conscious fade "N-no wait i want to know what happened!" Yu would've said if not because of his self passing out....
"hmm..." Yu hummed as his consciousness returned though finding himself in a train "Was it all a weird dream?" Yu took his flip-phone out to check the date "Looks like it wasn’t …?" Yu mused, besides that nothing was different from usual he even got the same text from his uncle, Dojima. “Nothing seems out of place…?no i should wait before assuming” Yu sighed the experience was heavy and tiring
"We will arrive at the Yasoinaba terminal in a few minutes." The train announcer said making Yu a bit more aware of his surroundings, as some news reported the scandal Taro Namatame was involved with, Yu couldn't be less interested as that was not something to worry if what he 'dreamed' was right?
"I'm sure it wasn't a dream..? all of it felt too real,Ngh my head hurts " Yu clenched his fist remembering his bonds...even the one he had with Adachi "We’re your doings truly what you wanted? or was it because of Ameno-sagiri?" Yu whispered. His head was starting to hurt. Good thing the views of Inaba distracted him from more complex thoughts "hmm...Just as i remember" Yu smiled...his situation was complicated and there were lots of unanswered questions...but perhaps it would be better to worry about it later.
"Yasoinaba, Yasoinaba" Yu heard the announcer as he dropped off the train. Yu took some glances at the terminal and well it was exactly the same as he remembered
"Hey! over here!" Yu instantly recognized that voice, it was his uncle Dojima "Well you're more handsome in person than in your photo." Dojima took a good look at him
"Maybe they just didn't catch my best angle?" Yu joked while looking towards Nanako. It's really all the same…
"Maybe heh" Dojima chuckled a bit "Welcome to Inaba I'm Ryotaro Dojima. I'll be looking after you" Dojima said, since they hadn't met since Yu was a baby "Let's see...I'm your Mother's younger brother... and that about sums it up." Dojima’s explanation was very simple if not because Yu was a literal time traveller now
So Yu honestly didn't know how to answer that... "It's been a long time" Yu stretched his hand, Dojima in return shaked his hand
"You don't have to act like you remember me, you know? last time i saw you, you were still in diapers" Dojima's hand reached for Nanako prompting her to come out behind his back "This here is my daughter, come on Nanako, introduce yourself to your cousin." Nanako stood quiet for a second
"....'lo" Nanako tried to say something that made Dojima chuckle a bit
"What are you shy for?" Nanako glared a bit before slapping his back "ow, hahaha." meanwhile Yu watched in amusement
"Your daughter is quite energetic" Yu laughed at them making Nanako more embarrassed, Dojima shook his head with an amused expression
"well then let's get going, my car is over there" Dojima and Nanako started walking
"Alright uncle i-" Before Yu could finish a not so friendly face interrupted him. What? she wasn’t here last time right…or i just don’t remember. No it can’t be i remember clearly and she was not here i should be careful
"hey..." she picked something, it was a piece of paper he for sure did NOT drop? "You dropped this." she wasn't even asking it was more like a statement. despite his awareness…Yu could feel his heart race a little come on get it together! she may even be my only lead to the mastermind since…well she simply wasn’t here last time.
"H-huh? sorry i don't think that's mine" Yu said feeling a bit awkward….”I don’t remember writin-”
"no, it is yours it has your name on it" the mean looking girl handed him the piece of paper regardless...wait how would she know it was his name? Yu wasn't sure...but one thing was very obvious. She wasn't here last time. just what is going on
"thanks...? i...-anyway what's your name?" she looked at him for a second before turning her back and leaving "hey! wait" Yu heard Dojima calling his name but he was far more interested in knowing just what was going on
"Hey what's wrong?" Dojima called one more time that which made Yu give up in the mysterious girl
"N-nothing i'm going uncle" Yu caught up to Dojima's car and swiftly took a seat "sorry i dropped something i guess..."
"Is that so? huh i was thinking you may be sick" Dojima replied as he started driving and made some conversation...but Yu was lost in thought. Who was that girl? and it seems I'm really back in time. Was it Igor? "Jeez we're running out of gas, i might as well just refill" Dojima said as he drove to the nearest Gas station "can you go to the bathroom yourself?" Dojima asked Nanako to which the little girl simply hummed
"Mind if I go out for a second uncle?" said , though already opening the door. Something Yu noticed was the lack of the gas station attendant huh? I'm sure there was a Gas station attendant who even offered me a job. anomaly Number two found.
"Well you're already out...take your time" said Dojima as he pumped the gas himself.
"So there are two anomalies….missing attendant and mean looking girl?" Yu muttered hushedly while taking a stroll around the south section of the shopping district. Not even two minutes after his walk started Yu noticed that rude girl and maybe the best course of action was to approach her "hey? didn't we just meet… but you didn't tell me your name, maybe you didn't hear me?" Yu asked but wasn’t really expecting an answer
"I don't remember doing that" that's all the girl said…
"Well anyway my name is Narukami Yu, and it is nice to meet you" Yu stretched his hand breaking through trying to break the tension the girl thought was there. The girl groaned and swatted his hand away
"...Marie" she muttered with a red face rather than an annoyed one
“What was that?” Yu genuinely barely heard-
"My name is Marie!!" Marie shouted embarrassed "you ask too much you stupidjerk”Yu was left stunned at how different she acted compared to a few minutes ago she sure is…a rather complicated person
"I see, nice to meet you Marie i hope we get along" as much as Yu would've liked to continue chatting with Marie there were still things he needed to confirm sorry Marie but i need to see if there are any more differences…though i promise to make up for it! “we’ll talk later, my uncle is waiting for me.”
"...." Marie shook her head, not answering, probably still embarrassed but seemed a bit annoyed at his ‘quick-and go introduction’.
Yu waved at Marie as he made his way to the north side of the district "well everything but Marie are similar to last time...however i haven't been able to feel Izanagi...in fact i can't feel any persona" Yu frowned...did he have to awaken first perhaps? not that Igor ever explained how his powers worked- wait he did well i just forgot…embarrasing.
"Izanagi?" Yu was interrupted by what he could describe as a beauty...crimson red eyes and silver hair...if he had found Marie attractive then...what should he call what he was feeling right now...? a faint blush appeared on his cheeks.
"o-oh uhm sorry i-i was just muttering some nonsense" Yu took a more appreciative look at the silver haired girl. This is wrong on so many levels….
"hmm...no, it's okay i myself might have mistaken you for someone else" The girl said that but her expression was still the same stoic one. But in her eyes there was a hint of curiosity and cautiousness
"ahem...anyway i'm new here..and i would like to know your name yes?i " while Yu stuttered the girl remained with the same face....making Yu even more nervous Goddamnit i’m shaming myself! retreat! retreat now!
"h-hey isn't this a nice shrine-" Yu tried to look away surprisingly that caused a reaction out of the crimson eyed girl, one he wasn’t expecting at all
"Yes, but that's not what you asked" she said a bit harsher...for reasons Yu did not understand. even if short it still scared him for a second
"ahem, pardon me..., Welcome to inaba although i'm quite new myself" she was still harsh albeit sounding a bit more pleased "And my name is...Nami"
"a-Nice to meet you Nami! I am Narukami Yu" Yu while still feeling his heart racing from both embarrassment and something else… he still managed to act calm enough to speak and utter his own name
"...." Nami stayed quiet... with her stoic expression giving into what looked like a smile a small one but regardless it was there
"W-well not that i want to sound rude but i..gotta go BYE!" Yu ran away abruptly....causing Nami to flinch and frown openly why am i running! this is really lame! I just can’t keep getting myself all flustered!
“Damn you, always running away" Nami gritted her teeth... whatever suspicions she had were confirmed that moment...that had to be him Narukami Yu? not so subtle....the name was too literal for her liking
Regardless....she would still watch although her previous plan wasn't gonna cut it anymore now that this variable had presented. maybe watching from a closer seat would be best, all for the sake of the test… Ameno and Kunino we’re already doing the job from the shadows. maybe taking a spot in the front wasn’t so bad once in a while ... .or was she just intrigued in that boy.
Later that day Yu spent an amazing time with the Dojimas though his uncle had to leave.
"soo...Nanako what does your dad do?" Yu smiled gently while looking at Nanako
"hmm...my dad's a detective he catches bad people...he used to have lots of free time but it's not like that anymore" Nanako explained, her hands clasped together as she answered a quizz question correctly
"Look, I'm sure he cares about you a lot...just that" Yu struggled, not sure if he should keep talking about this with Nanako "Nevermind goodnight Nanako." Yu rose up to his feet leaving Nanako alone with her Quizz show and went to his 'new' room “‘night” replied the little girl
"What I saw from Adachi's perspective..." Yu mused on his futon...while he had seen some of what the young detective had done...was there a reason to stop those events? Sure saving Saki was possible but Mayumi...he wasn't so sure, regardless, doing that would change too much. "But is it really okay..?" Yu really felt conflicted. he could find a way to save those two from death...but wouldn't that make Yosuke to never Awaken or worse to never enter the TV world and look for the truth...Specially considering that apparently Adachi wasn't the actual mastermind but another puppet like Namatame....at the end Yu came to one decision one that he wasn't proud of...and that was to let the events unfold like last time at least until it was necessary to act such as after Adachi...even if i had already decided this still feels like i’m in the wrong here…
Soon his eyelids started to feel heavy and as he expected found himself in a place brimming with fog...shockingly like last time for some reason he had a katana.... "i should proceed forwards like last time” and So Narukami took some steps forward with zero fear of what's to come, maybe he could even find some more answers, unlike last time he now understood what was going and that figure was most likely the Mastermind
the walk wasn't much until he would eventually find a box shaped door...to which he opened and was greeted with more fog and a mysterious humanoid shape. "i see, so you're the one who pursues me… even through all of this fog. you should turn back" even if it warned Narukami smirked feeling confident even it acts different… not like it matters right now, i will get some information out of you
"Yes that's me....and you will reveal yourself to me!!" Ah...there it was his other self...a card floated down to his hand and without hesitation Yu crushed it "Izanagi!" and with that a strong lightning struck the figure crowded in fog "oh...so it did carry over" Yu's confidence was now through the roofs he did wonder if traveling back in time would undo his progress with his personas...it seems like that wasn't the case.
"I-i S-see indeed very interesting information" the voice had some...stutters? as if it had actually hurt it, in response the fog thickened but even that wasn’t enough since Yu could still see some of the shape of it’s figure
"oh?i didn’t expect you to be this weak" Yu said sarcastically and immediately crushed Izanagi's card "Cross slash!" a powerful series of slashes cut through the fog
"E-enough with y-your disrespect" the fog completely covered Yu's vision now
“Did i pissed you off? don’t bother answering i already know…you are the Mastermind behind everything not Ameno or kunino” Yu said as loud as he could
“I see, so you know about them” while it didn’t sound scared it was definitely something it wasn’t expecting “and yes i am the one behind everything…we shall meet at another time Narukami Yu” and so like last time Yu felt exhausted and his consciousness began to fade
“W-wait not yet”.....

"are you okay?' Yu heard a voice calling him...
"ngh...morning Nanako..." Yu rubbed his eyes feeling somewhat tired. At least I was able to get some information out of it. It didn’t deny anything in fact it had accepted it…i wonder what changed from last time. Was it because I am stronger now? Yu shook his head and instead went downstairs
breakfast's ready!" Nanako called happily
“oh, wow did you make all of this” Yu said in ‘awe’ while appreciating the meal Nanako had served
“uh-huh do you like it?” Nanako smiled to which Yu immediately nodded
“Yeah it’s really good but….” Yu placed his fork down and looked at Nanako concerned “you should be taken care of…not take care of others so, starting from tomorrow i’ll be helping you in the kitchen and some chores alright?”
“uhm…i-if you want” Nanako said nervously but it was obvious she appreciated his words “but don’t worry okay! i am capable of taking care of myself” Yu chuckled at that
“not that i’m saying otherwise i just think some help won’t be so bad right?” Yu finished his scrambled eggs and the toast he had “come on i’ll walk you to school….partway at least” Nanako hurried to finish the little she had of breakfast
“let 's go!” Yu walked with Nanako part of the way to school having a nice idle chat. “See you later Nanako!” Yu waved
“See you!” the little girl waved back as she ran past…A girl with silver hair, Nami. Yu again felt his heart racing albeit less severe now…with a sigh he approached the suspicious girl.
"Going to School Nami?" Yu slowed his pace once next to her...who even forgets their umbrella on rainy days…what an odd girl
"o-oh Good morning Yu" Nami looked away for some reason...she seemed somewhat tired and had a small bruise on her arm noticing Yu's gaze she immediately hide it
"yikes? Did something happen? perhaps you fell while going to the riverbank" Yu teased...though it had happened to him once or twice…
"No." Nami tried her best to not hiss..., she didn't expect him to be that powerful nor that he knew about her other accomplices, at first she really wanted to speak with him but no he had to use violence…worse of all she felt some of it despite the fog shielding her! This was ridiculous. Who was this? there’s no doubt he’s that coward of a man. to think he wouldn’t even hide his intentions irks me “I had a little accident that i did not foresee and.. ended up slipping in the staircase last night” She said simply not bothering to give more details to her excuse
"o-oh that 's… kind of funny but you should be more careful” Yu shook his head at the girl apparent’s silliness, of course she was still a variable he would be cautious of, same for Marie though!
"it's okay...i’m sure i won’t fall like that again” through all the conversation Nami didn’t remove her stare off Yu’s visage, thus making the teen a little flustered even if her expression was blank.
"...." Yu hummed “Something in my face Nami?” Yu appreciated the attention but it was getting uncomfortable
"oh nothing, i must say you’re quite handsome? i assume you’re ‘popular with the gals’ “ Nami said though sounding somewhat unsure if she said it right.
"Nah i’d said i’m above average though” Yu smirked confidently “but anyways i’ve never been interested in that kind of stuff anyway” it was truth in a way, on his last timeline he made sure to keep a line with the girls when bonding though the most hard to deal was to reject Yukiko…and let’s not talk about Naoto that made me feel awful why would she expect anything but friendship from me?
Nami's face was unchanging “Well i’m sure you will find someone one day or maybe not” Nami shrugged
Yu honestly didn’t know what to answer maybe some romance wouldn’t be so bad “You might be right” Yu shook his head with an amused expression
"well if you’re free" she eyed him "Maybe we could get to know each other as they say” Nami said out of the blue basically
“Well…i actually wanted to say the same thing” Yu halted for a second “sorry for leaving all of a sudden last time” Yu looked up at her eyes instead of the puddles the rain caused.
Nami nodded to herself “I agree that was extremely rude of you” Nami’s pace quickened… “hopefully this time you won’t run away” she muttered leaving Yu behind
“Well see you after school?” Yu really couldn’t understand her, she was strange not even bothering to use an umbrella on rainy days.
“No, I suppose it will have to be some other time” Nami replied from a few steps ahead…
“hmm…’Nami’ huh?” Yu wondered…it was a short name and was it her surname? she had only used that really a strange girl. Yu walked a calmly through the raining streets well that was until he saw Yosuke crash against some trash bin exactly like last time
"whooaa...!" Yosuke screamed in fear as he crashed against the trash bins. Yu smiled with amusement
"Hey you okay" he approached to help him up. It won't change much if I help him a little right?.
"ngh i don't know...i think something broke" Yu shook his head and helped his once best friend
“you might wanna check up your stuff” Yu said cryptically while pointing towards Yosuke’s bag
“H-huh what do yo-” Yosuke shook his head interrupting himself “You know what? i have a feeling it’s nothing important” Yosuke offered a small smile “By the way my name is Hanamura Yosuke” Yosuke got up onto his bike
“Nice to meet you, Yosuke” Yu stretched his hand “i’m Narukami Yu” Yosuke gave his hand a shake
“Well, Yu shall we go now?” that’s right it was still raining and they would be late at this rate “OR WE”LL BE LATE!” Yosuke groaned
“Nah…in five minutes” Yu instead of taking the situation seriously was thrilled about a competition “Let’s see who makes it first!” and so Yu ran off without a countdown nor Yosuke’s agreement
“W-wait what! I didn't even say yes to anything!!” Yosuke groaned but there was a subtle smile on his face “You cheater!”
a few minutes later: “come on legs move!” Yosuke groaned, the competition had gone wrong as Yu forgot about a little detail, exhaustion wired both
“Come on…Yosuke we’re so close” Yu although a little less tired he wasn’t running anymore….the rest to school was filled with an awkward set of groans and complains from Yosuke.
Yu and Yosuke parted ways as Yu needed to go to the faculty office and Yosuke didn't want to be late… no more than he was already.
a female student started talking "hey you guys, i heard there's going to be a transfer student from the city in this class" prompting another male student to talk
"huh? really? a guy or a girl" and they continued talking… for long
a short haired girl with a green jacket started talking to Yosuke who was behind with his face against his desk "a transfer student from the city...just like you huh Yosuke?" ....
"haha, something like that he's nice" Yosuke paused for a second "about the other one i don't know she was weird...but very pretty" Chie instantly deadpanned. to be fair Yosuke had only caught a glimpse from Nami but he had founded her somewhat charming
"Jeez i thought you were going to finally say something interesting....but still you look dead today” Chie looked at him with pity
“Aghh don’t even start i’m dead…in more ways than one” Yosuke grimaced, after all he had finally found what had ‘broken’ and he was not looking forward to tell Chie. maybe some steak would… appease her
“Wait, you said 'he' was nice? so you met the transfer student... huh?" Chie’s eyes shinned with curiosity for the new guy, finally someone interesting to hang out with! oh man Yukiko needs to join though.
before they could continue gossiping a teacher entered with Nami and Yu following behind though the first staring intensely at the latter. which caused some uncomfortable coughs from some jealous male students
"awright shut yer traps! I'm Kinshiro Morooka, your homeroom teacher from today forward!" he yelled before continuing "First thing first! just 'cause it's spring doesn't mean you can swoon over each other like love-struck baboons."
Nami looked confused at Mr. Morooka, as if questioning his ranting, Yu in the other hand stayed quiet "Long as i'm around, you students are going to be pure as the driven snow" ...every student in the classroom seemed uncomfortable "Now i hate wasting my time but i better introduce these transfer students..." Since Yu was way too quiet Mr Morooka decided to pick on him rather than the confused and rather annoyed Nami "This sad sack's been thrown from the big city out to the middle of nowhere like yesterday's garbage."
Yu listened closely since last time he didn't and well Morooka was really disrespectful to him "and he's just as much of a loser here as he was there, so you girls better not get any ideas about hitting on him!" ..... "tell 'em your name kid and make it quick kid"
"You calling me a loser?" Yu said sarcastically the class went quiet and Nami remained as quiet as ever. though she looked somewhat amused
"hrnn that's it you're on my shitlist , effective immediately." he continued "This town is miles away from your big city of perverts and assholes, in more ways than one, you better not think of getting involved with the girls here, let alone abusing them." Mr Morooka went on and on from that point so Yu decided to ignore it fortunately for him a short haired girl interrupted
"excuse me! Is it okay if the transfer student sits over here?" Yu sighed thankfully towards the green jacketed girl, thank you chie!. since Morooka barely acknowledged her Yu simply went and sat in one of the two open seats ...the one next to a red sweatered girl ....Nami followed and sat behind Yu not caring if Morooka assigned her elsewhere
"he's the worst huh?" the short girl hoped to start a conversation with both the new students ...Nami did not even bulge out of her stoic expression
"yeah you could say that..." Yu sighed and replied in a hushed tone
"You've got some luck to end up here in King moron's class....well we just have to hang in there for a year" Yu was about to answer the gossip but Morooka talked over
"Shut your traps, I'm taking roll, and I damn well expect you to respond in an orderly manner." and so the class went on with a bunch of students gossiping about him and Nami … well is your fault for walking with me to school, Nami
"that's all for today. Normal lectures will start tomorrow" Yu yawned but knew what was coming and he grimaced…"Attention all teachers. please report to the faculty office for a brief staff meeting."
"all students must return to their classrooms and are not to leave the school until further notice." The announcer finished but Mr Morooka had something to say
"hrnh. you heard the announcement. don't go anywhere until you hear otherwise" just after Mr morooka left Sirens were heard outside the school building.
"Attention all students" the announcement came a few minutes after the sirens were heard "there has been an incident inside the school district .police officers have been dispatched around the school zone, please stay calm and contact your parents or guardians as soon as possible, and quickly leave the school grounds, do not disturb the police officers, head directly home." adachi...why
Yu ignored most of what the rumors were as he mused, Adachi was someone he failed…yet now here with another opportunity he didn’t do anything, YU got up and so did Nami for some reason "oh i nearly forgot! I'm Chie Satonaka. We just talked, remember?"
"Why wouldn't he remember?" answered Nami for Yu with a deadpan
"weeell i was just making sure! right Yukiko?" Chie turned to her friend in a red sweater
"oh it's nice to meet you i'm sorry this is all so sudden" Yu shook his head amused no use in thinking over it I've already decided how I would do things.
"Nah it's okay...My name is Narukami Yu nice to meet you, Chie, Yukiko" Yu gave both a light nod
"Well since you don't look like you have anything to do, why don't we go out to Junes!?" Chie offered looking a bit impatient to be out of school already but...
"uh, uhm miss Satonaka...?" Yosuke approached "this was really awesome. like, the way they moved was just amazing to see." Yosuke suddenly bends with a box in his hands "And i'm really sorry! it was an accident! please just have mercy until my next paycheck! see ya thanks!" Yosuke ran off and so Chie followed angrily knowing there was something off
"stop right there, what did you do to my DVD!?" and so Yosuke was kicked....Yu flinched ....never wanting to experience something that painful "argh!" Chie opened the box and gasped "What the!? I can't believe this it's completely cracked!..." Chie wailed at the sight...."my trial of the dragon"
Yosuke winced in pain "I think mine's cracked too....critical hit to the nads...." Yukiko covered her mouth and asked:
"a-are you all right?" Yosuke looked up with hope, Yu held a laugh knowing what was coming
"oh, Yukiko-san, are you worried about me?" Yosuke smiled for a second...but Chie glared at him
"He's fine Yukiko, let's ditch him and go home!" Yosuke looks like he's in a lot of pain...
"hey lighten up" Yu patted his shoulder "At least Chie didn't ask you to pay for it...yet" meanwhile Nami yawned unamused by the group's antics
"you should leave him be" Nami spoke from behind prompting Yu to look at her "you should hurry, weren't you invited to walk along them? regardless i'm going home" she huffed and walked past Yosuke
"Yeah, don’t forget what you said earlier" Yu sighed remembering the sudden propasal. Yu walked after Yukiko and Chie and of course Mitsuo was there just like last time hitting on Yukiko yup red herring detected!
"yo...did i miss something?" he looked between Mitsuo and Yukiko "And who you might be?" The strange student backed a bit, almost looking offended by the question.
"why do you care a-are you with Yuki-san!? "Mitsuo accused immediately feeling betrayed
“and what if I am?” Yu deadpanned, really he wasn’t scared of Mitsuo
"Fine! you two are on my shit list from now on!" And so the creep stormed off to wherever he lives...
"thanks Narukami-kun" Yukiko sighed with relief.... Chie hummed in approval
"Yoo that so cool though i was about to do just that...that guy was a creep even calling Yukiko 'Yuki' all of a sudden" Chie clicked her tongue
Yu nodded along with Yukiko, "agreed" both said in unison. their way back was the same as last time Chie's annoying questions and...the body of Mayumi hanging....i want to throw up. I really didn’t do anything …..
"Adachi! stop acting like a rookie" Dojima scolded as the young detective ran past them to vomit "ngh this is lame" Adachi muttered under his breath
"Hey...uncle and detective-san" Yu greeted walking head on....you didn't know did you Adachi-san…
"Yu? what are you doing here?" Dojima asked his nephew and too looked back "o-oh i see how it is....but still you kids shouldn't be going straight home!?" Dojima scolded them....Chie approached
"hey...Yu, do you know this guy?" she asked the most obvious question...Yukiko answered for him with an ashamed expression
"Chie...he just called him uncle" Yukiko shook her head and deadpanned
"hehe...i kind of wasn't paying attention sorry" Chie chuckled to herself awkwardly...even Adachi stared
"haven't gotten used to crime scenes uhm?" Yu went towards Adachi, giving him a hand...
"hrnh. you could say that...it's just that..." the young detective trailed off "anyway Name's Adachi! at your service, Yu right?" Adachi stood up with a half assed smile, the young detective was clearly not okay but was trying to play it off as a newbie’s mistake
"Adachi that's enough" Dojima coughed "and you kids should head straight home..." he warned
"yeah guys we better leave this 'junes' hang out for another day....better if we follow the laws no?" Yu looked directly at Adachi with an amused smile...
"well of course" Adachi laughed it off....”It’s dangerous out her-” Adachi couldn’t finish his sentence due to a glaring Dojima. “Sorry guys, just go home okay?” Adachi followed Dojima back
“Well see you guys i’m off” Yu waved to his new? friends. His way back to the Dojima residency was eerily quiet, Normally that would worry him…but right now it was calm, to be ‘ignorant’ of the case that was about to come.
“Hey Nanako i’m home” Yu greeted on autopilot before going straight to his room. I should be ready for anything…am I just being a coward? my previous self would be disgusted…but i need the events to turn out exactly like last time if i want to catch the real culprit-No the mastermind behind the fog. even if it means some…sacrifices regardless sleeping would be better…ah i forgot to talk with Nanako or help her! Yu made his way downstairs and spent some nice time with his little cousin
