"Oh, too bad. You've lost your job" he says looking up at Mok with a childlike glint in his eyes. An enamouring smile taking over his face as he looks at his Mok, the one he would search for in every lifetime just so he could love him wholeheartedly over and over again.
Mok stares back at the boy in front of him, the boy he's loved for as long as he can remember, the boy he considered forbidden fruit - desperately desired but never allowed, the boy he thought he's spend a lifetime longing for- a whirlwind of emotions stir inside of him, and he can't tear his eyes away.
Was he really allowed such indulgence?
The world around them starts to blur as nothing and no one else seems to matter but each other. Tears start to well in Mok's eyes, his hands beginning to shake as the emotions he's held back bubble to the surface. Rome is looking at him with those beautiful brown eyes of his, desperately hopeful. They're only 5cm's apart when the last of Mok's restraint is lost.
He doesn't have to agonisingly hold back anymore,
He doesn't want to.
Mok reaches out, places his hands on Rome's face and pulls him forward. They're lips meet in a searing kiss filled with everything they hadn't dared to say out loud. Rome's hands tightly wrap around his small waist and he pulls him flush against his body.

Was this was really happening?
A tear slips down Mok's face as they continue to kiss. Overwhelmed at finally being allowed to love the boy in front of him. Something he thought would never, ever be possible.
Still holding each other, they break apart to catch their breath and gently lean their foreheads against one an other as they savour this moment. Whilst Mok's eyes remain closed, afraid this is just a dream he doesn't want to wake up from, Rome opens his and gently reaches up to wipe the tear running down Mok's face away. Mok opens his eyes at the contact and looks back into those beautiful brown eyes, also teary.
The pain was worth it, the waiting and not knowing, everything that led to this point was all made worth it for this moment.
"I take it that means you'll come with me?" Rome says with a cheeky grin on his face contrasting his watery hopeful eyes. Mok looks back at his endearing, handsome boy, smiles too and says...
"Wherever you go, Khun Rome."
