Summary
As Gon opens his eyes, his senses slip into him in a slow and unhurried pace, consciousness gradually trickling in like liquid in a vessel – too thick to be mere water, more akin to blood. He turns his head slightly to look out the window where he spots a small spider, and his eyes study it with a renewed interest – at least doing so provides him something to occupy his mind. The spider moves its long black legs in a careful manner, as if afraid to stumble on the glass.
