Work Text:
Furina doesn't trust her tongue to say what she wants to, so she offers her teeth instead.
A kiss pressed first to his knuckles (hand offered so freely to her), then teeth (gently) to the inside of his wrist—up to his throat, to his pulse starting to race, as if the sound of it could drown out her own heartbeat pounding in her ears.
She doesn't think Neuvillette trusts his own tongue either, when he opens his mouth as if to say something (to object, to ask why, to lean forward and respond in kind) before swallowing and continuing to say nothing, only watching—waiting for her to speak first.
(Her courage always fails her then, and she steps away.)
