Furina seems perpetually delighted by him asking to hold her hand—glad to offer it, though not without her prerequisite amount of pomp and circumstance, before happily twining her gloved fingers with Neuvillette's as they walk on.
Perhaps it's selfish of him. He only wants to feel her pulse, the quiet insistent thrum of blood rushing through her veins—marking her as alive, alive, still alive.
