Summary
Sherlock was dead and John needed to move on with his life. That was how he (and his therapist) truly felt. It had been years since his best friend had died and he'd just staying his some kind of strange limbo, waiting for the conclusion to a story that would never come. It was over. Except, Mary was still around, and an old acquaintance of Sherlock's named Langdale Pike. They wouldn't let John forget his old friend, painting the city with colorful graffiti and bringing him cases he repeatedly turned down.
But when one of Moriarty's most powerful soldiers makes an attempt on John's life, he has no choice but to take up Mary's latest case. It's a race against time to see if he can solve it before he's killed... only he's started having the strangest symptoms. Not to mention John is now getting cryptic texts from an unknown number that sound suspiciously like his dead roommate. This time, John Watson might be out of his depth.
