Chapter Text
"Damn bitch, what's wrong with you. Another hook up gone wrong?" Prism commenting on the sour look on her friends face.
Flambae rolled his eyes.
"No not even a text, Grindr seems dried up, might have to go out to the club again."
"Well, as much as I love spending time with you, I got my own plans tonight."
"Everything going good with Miss, hold on, here comes Ww-waterbitch."
"Bitch shut up." Prism shoves Flambae.
"Hi uh, so-sorry to but- interrupt in your lunch. Robert wanted to-to chat, with all of us before we leave ffor the evening, night."
"Fucker couldn't text us?"
"He did, h-he just as-requested if I saw anyone too let th-em know."
"Hermie ain't lying, here it is in the group chat. Looks like we missed it earlier."
"Man, fuck Micro chat." Chad whispers to himself as he checks his phone to see that there wasn't even a notification.
"Thanks Wetboy, tell Bob-Bob we'll be there."
Herman nods his head and walks out of the break room, as soon as Chad sees him out of sight,
"What you think his problem is?"
"Probably the same as yours, not getting laid."
Chad's eyebrow raises, before both of them start laughing hysterically.

"Robert, what the hell is this?" Courtney shouts.
"I know, not ideal but unfortunately it's a new policy thing and you guys are still technically criminals, excluding Waterboy and Golem."
"I thought this job was community service." Coupé whispers mostly to herself.
"Biweekly check-ins and random drug checks, this is seriously fucked. We saved LA!" Sonar yells as he slams his hands on the table.
Everyone murmured in agreement with Sonar.
"My crimes were petty, can I be excused from this." Prism raised her hand. Flambae speaks up too.
"Yo, I spent time behind bars, I'm reformed. A New man. This is bull shit. I'm forced to go to therapy."
Robert coughs loudly, everyone in the room stops talking.
"Yes, this is just a general statement about the new policy. Everyone is going to have a one on one meeting with me to discuss what is going to be a part of your reform plan. Everyone's plan is custom to each individual, due to whatever personal circumstances that brought you to here."
Everyone seems to groan at this.
"Well if there aren't anymore complaints, I will be personally messaging your meeting times and all the good stuff that comes with it."
Alice and Chad leave the meeting together chatting amongst themselves.
"Who you think is going to have it worst, my money is on Coupé."
"Oh, it's definitely Coupé. The ex assassin? No brainer."
"Wanna bet money on it?"
"Fuck no."
"Why afraid you'll lose?"
"No, it's not worth putting in money when we going to split it even."
A loud ping sound comes from Chad's phone.
"Looks like Robo wants to see me first."
***
"What do you want from me Bob-Bob?"
"Look, I'll cut to the chase. You're not in any big trouble with the parole board this is strictly a new policy thing, this isn't happening just to you, everyone in the program is set up with a buddy."
"Okay and?"
"The buddy system is to insure that you aren't running off and doing crimes or whatever, since you're still on parole, to keep you in the Phoenix program, you do have to be under surveillance."
"Why can't you get a tracker on me or something. I don't need a babysitter."
"Look man, I don't know they talked about needing real people to encourage everyone to stay on track-
"Oh my God, like a fucking AA program."
"Yep. Everyone on the team is getting matched with another teammate, so no strangers involved."
There's a knock on the conference room door.
"You're welcome to come join the meeting now."
Waterboy walks into the room, before he can say anything Flambae is standing up from the table.
"Oh hell no, what the fuck man! You got water baby trying to babysit me!"
Waterboy puts the pieces together of the situation quickly and seemly shouts,
"Robert, what the fuck?"
Everyone in the room goes quiet, Herman starts blushing and sweating more.
"So-rry s-ssir. I didn't mean, it sl-iped out."
"Yo, didn't know you had it in you to curse at Bob-Bob."
Robert sighs.
"Look I know you guys don't get along,"
"Ro-bert Sir, with all, rr-respect. I disagree, this is a-a no go."
"Flambae give us a minute."
"Ehh no, I want to hear what Wetboy has to say."
Robert gives Flambae a dirty look before Herman speaks up.
"That's fi-okay! I-I don't care, why do you want me to work with a guy that bullies me all the time!"
"Wait, wait. I don't bully you? What? Dude, seriously?"
Robert and Herman give a quick look to each other.
"Chad, I mean this in all seriousness, in what world do you live in that the way you talk and act towards Herman isn't bullying?"
"Am I bullying you, Robert?"
"Yeah, you're a fucking asshole."
Robert replies quickly, then he starts to think about what was just answered.
"You know what, I see the problem."
"The problem is that he's a jj-erk!"
"Yeah, wet bitch. That's like, my thing."
"We-ll, pic-chose a, something else!"
"Can't, life style thing."
"Okay boys, stop bickering. Herm, I would like you to know you are technically the boss of him if you agree to this."
"Yo, you for real? Like it matters, what's stopping me from not doing what he says."
"Great question Chad. See Herman tells me what's going on and you get a write up, after five you get put on probation and once you hit ten you get kicked out of the program. So, I would highly suggest you listen to him."
Herman stands there frozen in place. Robert passes him a couple of lamented papers.
"Here's a list of things you have to look out for and report if he does anything on here, each one of these are one write up, so if he does ten things on this list for example today, he could be terminated immediately. But also try to be encouraging preventing him from making bad choices. You think you got it Herman?"
Robert doesn't wait for an answer and starts leaving the room. Herman still standing in place, he suddenly feels a nudge on his shoulder.
"Can I see those?"
Herman passes Chad the papers and runs after Robert.
"Sir!"
As soon as he steps out he sees Robert standing just outside the door.
"Sorry, only way to make sure Flambae didn't follow us."
"Why me?"
"Honestly, I thought you guys could learn something from each other."
Herman gives a puzzled look.
"Chad is a jerk but a confident one, figured you could learn a thing or two. The bulling thing he has going on is, his way of trying to connect with you. "
"I-I think your excusing bad behaviors. "
Robert puts his hand on Herman's shoulder and smiles softly,
"It feels like that, but you'll make the right choice for yourself. I got to get going though meeting with Mandy, let me know what you think later."
With that Robert leaves Herman standing in the middle of a very loud office.
