Summary
The deal is broken. Darkseid has decided the time for patience is over, and the living key to the Anti-Life Equation can no longer hide. Savage, once a master of manipulation and power, finds himself stripped of control, his alliances fractured, his strategies obsolete. The Earth braces, but even the League and their allies may be too late.
As heroes scramble to protect the living key and each other, betrayals simmer, old grudges resurface, and the cost of resistance becomes painfully clear. For some, the fight will demand everything. For others, the fight may be meaningless. In the shadow of Apokolips, hope quivers, but Darkseid’s will is absolute, his victory almost inevitable, and the universe itself holds its breath.
